AnonD-1063708, 06 Sep 2022i'll never understand these comparisons
obviously y... moreMan yes but if your kid will break phone like this every month twice will you spend 50 extra for a less crapy phone 2 times a month??? I dont think so.
I my self, lets say buy a less crapy phone for the first time and if i see they just does not care and break it within a week or month i will buy a more crappy phone and if they do it one more time i will stick to Nokia 105 or something for as long as they will need to learn and undderstand to care for the device.
I am rich enough to buy whathewer i want but i can care for my things so they need t learn the same thing.
As i said before from a stranger blood does not flow.
So unless its not their money they will never care.

Wtf Xiaomi. You just reused the name of your own Midrange phone from years ago and to make matters worse that phone from years ago will beat this new phone in every category.

Bought one of these yesterday in Venezuela, for my non tech-savvy brother. Seems mostly OK, but it is a bit slow, which is worrying since I just took it out of the box and it's already lagging and stuttering. We'll see how it turns out.
These have been popping up everywhere around here for a couple of weeks before this official announcement. Sold as Redmi A1 instead of Xiaomi A1.

I think nowadays phones should have at least 3gb ram.
I have used once a Samsung a10s and it is very slow with 2gb only...

AnonD-731363, 06 Sep 2022Ye man thats correct but as i said for elderly people and s... morei'll never understand these comparisons
obviously you wouldn't buy an elderly person or a child a flagship as their first smartphone: it doesn't mean you have to reduce your standards to the absolute bare minimum and buy them the cheapest, crappiest device that is practically unusable. you could get something like the redmi 10 for about 100 euros, maybe 120 and it is infinitely better than this
we need to start asking ourselves how cheap is too cheap
