When the excitement wears off, you'll realize you messed up, especially if you're in Web3 and have to install many heavy apps and often use said apps at the same time. I bought the 3GB ram model at ₦79,900 or so in November 2023 and went home rejoicing, but my woes were incoming.

The most obvious issue would be the flashlight, which goes off while you're using it and refuses to come on until sometime has passed. This has something to do with a sensory capability near the camera that switches the torch off if your hand so much as go nears it. Omo, you'll curse tire, so go get a torch, or better, buy two. But that is not all.

Remember how they said the battery is strong? It is, but this is partly because the phone is not running with its full permissions enabled? Like which one, you're asking? Let me ask a question in return: do you use a screen recorder for any reason? If yes, congrats, you'll unfortunately (because this was not how you planned it) soon become a programmer or spend money on one because you have the "display over other apps" feature turned off by default. That simply means no transparent bubble to hover over the apps on your phone screen & allow you access the app, because according to them "it drains battery". You will not be screen recording anytime soon unless you're ready to install ADB (Android Debug Bridge) into a computer and spend your time searching for the commands, as well as the app's name as it appears on Playstore (you'll need to use a laptop for this too, not on your phone. As soon as you unlock it, that superpower of lasting for hours will be reduced a little. Honestly, I don't know by how much.

Will you be using a memory card? Well, it better not be 128 GB and be careful with those Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok videos because if it fills up and your phone storage fills up too, you'll start feeling the inefficiency of your low processor. God forbid your phone spoils (you will fix charging port tire, especially if you share charger or plug your phone in a tight corner and it falls, or you guiltily use it while plugged) ... So, God forbid your new phone spoils less than a year later (it will if not handled with care), and you don't have time to unmount your SD card, by the time you boot the phone, watch out for issues with file organization, where your phone sees files on your SD card and falls in love with them, in other words it displays them as being stored on the phone despite their being on the SD card, and this error will persist until you move your files and flash your memory card (SD card, T card, they're all the same), and this is something I haven't had the willpower to do because of my even worse laptop. This is the most pressing issue I have (I got a torch long ago, fixed the charging port for the third time today, and deleted the screen recording app to free up space). So, long story short, because of these problems, I am considering getting a new device. 8 GB RAM at least is what I'd ask anyone here to look out for first, then don't pair this with a 5,000 mAh battery if you can. Remember, your phone with a 2, 3, 4 GB RAM only lasts so long with that same battery spec, so as you up the RAM, make sure you go for a higher battery if you can afford it. Raise the ROM, that is internal or phone memory, to 256 GB as well, then you can begin to look at camera specifications, and please I implore you to take this serious so that if life gets even better and you later decide to do content creation, you don't have to consider getting another phone specifically because of camera quality.

Some of you are rich kids sha. I'm getting there. Redmi A2+ users, did I do our device justice? It's a good one but these deal breakers fit break your heart join, kon make you dey hate Redmi. What other Redmi phone do you know that have these higher specs (8 GB RAM, 256 GB ROM, 5,000 mAh+ and a high quality camera) or which have you used that you loved.     The Phone has it's Ups and downs But my only Problem with the Phone Is The Flashlight randomly goes off Saying Flashlight unavailable and It doesn't Play Efootball Which is So Painful but it plays Other games Like CODM,PUBG,FC MOBILE, INJUSTICE,ETC it made and exception for Efootball I don't know y

                      I've bought this phone and it's probably the biggest mistake I've had ever done. It couldn't even run the games I wanted to play and it pretty much lagged alot, and It wouldn't even have a simple feature that would make it so there was message bubble thingies u see in Android devices whenever someone messages you, but it atleast can still run yt and media, I would say that this is the phone for old people/little kids who just wants to play simple games, since this is a budget phone you'd really not expect that much from it. Otherwise it would be a good smartphone for old people/little kids

                        My second and probably the last xiaomi phone I'll ever use. It barely runs anything. Not just games, it struggles to run apps like tiktok. For games it barely runs anything, even subway surfers struggles to run on this crap, whats worse, sometimes this phone does things my itself (for example, if i am on youtube it could press a random video or pick an ad for me and it's frustrating. (But I'm not sure if the issue is with the phone in general because this was my brother's phone but i am temporarily using this since mine broke). Sometimes it doesn't even open the keyboard which makes it harder to message someone for example. By far the worst phone I've ever used, even a small huawei phone i used years ago probably works better than this waste of recources. Get a samsung not this waste of money
