Xiaomi Redmi A2, A2+ launched in India

The Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ unveiled in March debuted today in India. Both smartphones are offered in Aqua Blue, Classic Black, and Sea Green colors in 4GB/64GB configuration, but the Redmi A2 has one more option - 2GB/32GB. It's priced at INR6,299 ($75/€70), while the 4GB/64GB model costs INR7,999 ($95/€90). The Redmi A2+'s 4GB/64GB version is priced at INR8,499 ($100/€95).

The Redmi A2 and A2+ will go on sale in India starting May 23 through Xiaomi's official Indian website, Amazon.in, Mi Home, and retail partners. Xiaomi also offers a 2-year warranty on both smartphones to ensure "users don’t have to change their smartphone every year."

The Redmi A2 and A2+ are identical smartphones, with the latter sporting a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. They come with the Helio G36 SoC, run Android 13 (Go Edition) out of the box, and feature 6.52" HD+ LCDs.

Both smartphones pack 5,000 mAh batteries that draw power through microUSB at up to 10W. The A2 and A2+ have 8MP primary cameras on the rear, joined by depth units, and feature 5MP selfie shooters on the front.

lcd is still lcd as for screen's breaking, just protect your phone man burn in isnt a huge issue as it seems. i live in a country where temps can go upto 50, so you can understand how sunny it gets even then, never had a burn in on the not...

it is miserably slow because they reuse old components with expensive housing and called it a day, even worse, they offer roughly the same price as redmi 9!!! just saying that oppo a57 4g variant is just an glorified landfill device. was meant for ba...
