          Good phone for low income markets.
          A lot of good people here, forgets the many people cant afford flagships and even mid tier phones.

            No punch Hole Canera
            Front cam 5mp
            Back 8 mp

              It's the exact same phone with 90hz display

                      anything newer than android 10 would be completely unusable. they are basically P35 with 90hz support. while it is useless considering the bottom of the barrel gpu from 2014.

                        redmi 9 performs even better than this polished turd with coat of paint.
                        and you can find them dirt cheap in used conditions!!!!!
                        i don't see the point of buying this garbage. even for 2024, they should stop using rebranded helio P35 from 6 years ago. for modern user experience, i recommend to save a bit more and buy itel p55 5g. much better deal than this 2018 low midrange hardware with different shell. xiaomi really took the wrong way..

                                Hard to recommend. Even an used Redmi Note "X" from the past three gens (basically any model) will perform better, and it will be at the same price. Just save a bit more money and get the Redmi 13C, or Moto G34, or just anything else basically. This is a guaranteed stutter, lag ridden, closing app fest and you will be irritated by it.

                                      I truly find it amazing what XIAOMI tries to do, by making a look-a-like of the expensive Xiaomi 14 ultra, what might see as a joke maybe to some, but for people with low budget opportunities this could be an awesome change; unfortunately they made it quite poor with only 8MP & 5M camera specs, it would have been a blast if this Xiaomi Redmi A3 had at least 13MP..because I do believe with less camera specs/MP, less storage&SD card, less game/apps etc. you can have a great smartphone for such a lower price..not everyone can afford or need so much on a mobile
