Very good screen for the price and responsive UI. I only use this phone for work and it's decent so far no lagging or choppiness and it's the best android go phone i've used so far.

This market sucks. Expensive subscription-driven flagships, and a complicated and frustrating midrange landscape. At least the performance floor for budget phones is pretty goo—

No, Unisoc t603 actually has 2 a75 cores https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/07/02/redmi-a3x-amazon-listing-indian-price-leak/. There was already an Itel phone with that processor.
