Wish I hadn't bought it. It's a spying and forced advertising block with some phone features. Google Go is a steaming pile of sh*t. I hate this phone.

What a disappointment.
Can't customize anything. Android go is a humongous POS. I want sold this phone asap.
Now if you read this forum you already caught in this trap, but for those who for unknown reasons happened to find as much info as they can before buying hear me out.
Gaming:
1stly you can run wuwa on low settings with this power. I ran. Pretty barrable experience. Pubg mobile not a single problem on mid-high. Phone is a beast with the components for the price. All other modern hi-res afk gacha games, fps and the rest of mobile market thrash ez high mid settings.
Now I really don't pay mobile games. Maybe few times a year on some vacation or really out of boredom. I have pc for that case.
Every day usage/Multitasking:
Now for every day usage it's good.
Few minor things IF you have experience with Redmi phones, meh I guess you'll get used to it.
Now what's really became so disturbing and awful that make me switch to another model is about Android Go and multitasking.
Even if you turn on RAM extension, which make available up to extra 4gb to your phone, so now it have total 8!! This cockass software keep closing your background apps. Even if you turn off/tweak adaptive battery usage options etc. They are just for show and nothing else.
Why I'm so mad? Few examples:
Online shopping. You make order you need to enter credentials. You open your bank app copy your card number, you switch back to your browser app and your web page refreshers for some reasons, need to reorder or fill required lines again. Then you need to confirm your order in your bank app so the seller can charge, you switch back now your bank app restarting. You need to re-enter password. Back to browser it refresh again f this shit. Sometimes Google can't pull your saved card idk why this happening. Need to use some other options.
Caponization:
Can't customize anything. Your desktop have no options to use 5×4 tiles like in normal Android versions, switch orientation of navigation buttons, the weather app for some reasons open in browser app. It's laggy.
The clock app have no the different qol options that normal versions have. Your contact book and dial is 2 separate apps.. wtf?
Can't install anything from Xiaomi. Your Android version/phone doesn't support it. Same for themes.
Recent updates is useless and ad unnecessary things that only distract and use your phone resources. More to say with resent security update this pile of cow slop sometimes restarting or freezing. And you need to reboot. Or rarely there random reboots. So I did factory reset. I tweaked with the phone a lot to set up the things I used to. But it's either not there, not available, or either do nothing.
It have no option to see your downloading speed. Sometimes there bad connection in my area and I need to switch to 3g, the phone doesn't automatically switch between this types. And it downloads better then on 4g in cases when 4g have problems.
There no security option to block unwanted sms or block them via words filters etc. It's not there.
Technical side (display, speakers):
Display is ok. Just a bit larger pixels then i used to, some strange white lines along rear when you in full screen mode on YouTube on top of the screen, whether you in vertical then its on top near camera, or in horizontal mode then along displays upper side.
There just 1 speaker on top of your phone for calls and also as multimedia output, strange solution. Bc they itself not even the decent quality. The hole oriented vertically, not directly into your ear like in old phones, where user had some kind of isolation from other directions and the sound flow directly in your ear which helps when you in loud environment or don't want to let others to hear the conversation.
No built in software app for a microphone. I used to record some lectures, now i need to search stupid apps with shit ton adds... Why Xiaomi?
The only good thing is 5k mah battery with 18w charger in and bottom 3.5 audio jack hole.
I'm still using old phone when at home. The reason i needed new phone is bc the old one is damaged and sometimes it loose mobile data connection. And it doesn't worth the repair. And I prefer it's functionally over new one.
Don't buy this particular model unless you ok with all the downsides which might and probably will be for me. But I recommend y'all to check which Android version it has. What the hardware or runs and what this hardware capable of.
Speaking of! There same or lower price older models that can playback 4k video... I'm not talking about YouTube option in talking about native file resolution. Some services upload original video files and if you need to watch the video and it is in 4k or 2k rip, not on this phone.
Unfortunately as always. Good base to make a nice product bad management and poor decisions, implementation from non user "specialists".
Price: 10/10
Hardware (gaming wise): 9/10
Software: 1 monkey could program better 4/10
TL:DR
+ The phone doing it's job. Huge 5k mah battery with 18w charger awesome! Gaming - ez win, not to say everyday multimedia tasks. Kids be happy. Wifi 5 (dual band - almost "1gb Ethernet cable devise" in your hands) fast af boi.
- Multitasking just a struggle. Same for customization. For multitasking it's just poorly executed, and customization have like 2-3 options...
Not for tech minded, nerds, "i want to control as much as I can" ppl.
