Redmi K30 Pro or Xiaomi mi10 5g?

Sam, 21 Mar 2020Ultra wide still uses 8Mp f/2.2 in this era?? Why not go up... moreDo you photoshop your Poco pictures like pro?
Many things reviews and tests showed us that the MP mean nothing... Except a more greater MB file...
The quality of the lenses is THE thing...

Or maybe you want to print on the big advertising in the streets...

If not it's just useless thing...

Big example with Galaxy S7 S8 which trade the MP battle with the best APN....

Anish De, 21 Mar 2020I dont know why Xiaomi is going down on their screen refres... moreMaybe cause 120hz is "again" a useless commercial feature" for 90% of the customers...
I could think my poor poco F1 is so weak with his 60hz screen...

It won't be a problem if they didn't put 120hz in k30... But now people complain LoL...

      The power of commercial features...

On other thing 120hz IPS is cheap... 60hz AMOLED is expensive...

If you think 60hz AMOLED is not better than 120hz IPS.........

I will go on this 60hz AMOLED like the idiot I am 😅😅😅

Ultra wide still uses 8Mp f/2.2 in this era?? Why not go up to 12 or 16 or even 48 for better details? What a miss!

harveyhans, 21 Mar 2020please tell me this phone at least has a 90hz refresh rateSure that would be quite an upgrade, gotta love what high refresh rate is doing for the s20 ultra:

I dont know why Xiaomi is going down on their screen refresh rates. The sdm730g redmi k30/poco x2 has 120hz whi starts at INR 15000 but this INR31000 phone which costs more than double is 60hz. At least having an option is always better because most will use it while gaming at least. More over that there is a big battery so battery life wont be a big problem.

please tell me this phone at least has a 90hz refresh rate

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2020No higher refresh rate in 2020, then it's a garbage.Who wants gimmicks that take away your battery life.

MichaelD, 21 Mar 2020I was little bit afraid but THANK YOU Xiaomi for using 60Hz... moreExactly my opinion as well, all i want is a flagship with 1080p 60hz amoled display, 3.5mm jack and a long battery life at low price. This phone meets all my requirements.

MichaelD, 21 Mar 2020I was little bit afraid but THANK YOU Xiaomi for using 60Hz... moreAccording to GSMArena's battery test, your phone gets almost the exact same battery life as my LG V30, while your phone is on 90hz mode. My phone easily gets me through a day of usage and then some. Not to mention even if you did run out of power, your phone charges in a half an hour. AND this K30 Pro has a 5000 mAh battery, meaning it would have literally NO problems at all with a full day's usage at 90hz or even 120hz.

If those specs will be confirmed and the price will be the one of the k20 pro the global version of this puppy will definetly be my new phone.
Also I'm actually happy of the screen, beetween a 120Hz QHD IPS and a 60Hz FHD+ AMOLED one I'd go for the second all the life, what's the point of having a small increase of the display's quality if it's always locked 'cause it sucks up all you battery?
My current phone is a QHD IPS and the screen drains energy like crazy!

I have to thank Xiaomi for not doing this just like a K30 with only a better processor, it would have been a failure just like the K30 seems to be.

Would have been nice if it had a dedicated micro sd slot (triple slot), not that stupid hybrid dual SIM where you are forced to choose between dual SIM and no storage expansion, or single SIM with storage expansion.

Also, I really can't comprehend why until now, Xiaomi phones CANNOT ENCRYPT micro SD storage (if a Xiaomi phone does have a micro sd card slot). MIUI limitation or government mandate?

Also, I can never quite understand why a high end Xiaomi phone with latest, most powerful snapdragon processor and state of the art camera and video capability (8K) like this one and many others before it, doesn't even have Widevine L1 certification to download, view and mirror DRM encrypted movies (Netflix/Google Play Movies/Amazon movies) in high definition to a large screen TV or Projector.

Then there's Xiaomi's pathological attachment to the old, outdated USB C 2.0 hardware that doesn't allow video out on the USB type C port, while all flagship phones use the newer USB C 3.1 which enables high definition video out through a USB C to HDMI adapter.

These are Xiaomi's MAJOR LIMITATIONS that need to be addressed for it to really compete with Samsung.

I was little bit afraid but THANK YOU Xiaomi for using 60Hz display, I will definitely buy this phone.
I don't need 60+ Hz displays because almost every phone that have 60+ Hz display look not smooth when screen refresh rate is lowered to 60Hz compared to phones that have 60Hz default screen refresh rate.
For example I used Realme X2 Pro which have 90Hz and when I set it to 60Hz it doesn't look as smooth as my Samsung Galaxy S9 which have 60Hz default refresh rate. I also compared my friend's OnePlus 7 Pro and it also doesn't look as smooth when set on 60Hz like other phones which have 60Hz default refresh rate.
Thank you Xiaomi, I'm very happy about this decision!

P.S. I will always prefer better battery life instead of high refresh rate displays and QHD+ displays.
