Why can't Samsung or Nokia makes this phone at this price.

I just want a decent mid ranger, with a screen that isn't made for ants, that isn't full of chinese spyware.

Seems pretty cool, but damn that screen-to-body ratio and punch-hole front camera are not particularly appealing.

no SD , 27 Dec 2022why no SD slot card on new phones ?????Because then they are able to charge you for larger storage versions of the phone, which you are more likely to pay if you have no convenient expansible storage option like an SD card.

Xytanox, 11 Jan 2023Even Samsung S21 Ultra seems to be good enough. I have that... moreYear over year upgrades will never bring major changes. Even the manufactureres, when they launch a flagship, they don't target people who bought last year, but people who are rocking a 3 year old device.

If I was him, I would wait for the S23 Ultra because of SD 8 Gen 2 built on TSMC. SD 8 Gen 1 is good, but built on Samsung's foundry. So if he's already so close to S23 launch, he should definetely get this one with the early perk like buds 2 pro which are $300 on their own. You sell those quick for $200 and here's your discount and future proof phone.

mo3mar, 08 Jan 2023I'm really confused right now between the Vivo IQOO 11... moreMate if you plan to use your phone for all the things you described and for a number of years, get yourself a true flagship, not one of these 2 phones. If you'll keep ot for 3+ years, why not spend once and enjoy the product. You deffinetely need S22 Ultra or wait a little more for S23 Ultra. I don't usually recommend Samsung, in fact I never recommend Samsung. But people who usually ask me for smartphone advice, they barely use their smartphone for more than a quick photo or quick surf on the web. You look like a power user, so get a power user device and the S22 & S23 Ultras are the only ones that are strong in every aspect, including DEX function. Motorola have also READY FOR, but you don't want to rely on Motorola for 3+ years. They just reestablished themself in the last 2 years, let them prove themself first for a few years before buying their products for long term use.

This is the best advice you will get here. Every other recommendation means that you save 100-200 bucks, but you lose big on more fronts.

All the best to everyone !

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2023No SD card or headphone jack But that price though... ca... moreCompletely possible, though no one has ever made an AOSP custom ROM over a single 8 Gen phone, all because of the prices

mo3mar, 08 Jan 2023I'm really confused right now between the Vivo IQOO 11... moreIf you will be using this as a computer and gaming device, I strongly recommend the Moto X40 (to be launched soon as Edge 40 Pro globally).

This is because: it has the same processor and READY FOR!

Ready For is a desktop environment - you can plug it into a display via usb c to hdmi, hook up a bluetooth kb and mouse and it becomes a straight up laptop. You can even cast games using this mode.

Iqoo and K60 have nothing of the sorts, plus they have USB 2.0, which is very slow compared to USB 3 on X40.

Downgrades come in the form of slightly worse display 1080p (but 165hz) and a less reliable update schedule. Camera isn't any worse than both of these.

Other option is an s23 phone series, but might be too expensive.

Yueyin , 09 Jan 2023Thanks for your feedback, iqoo 11 here's use funtouch ... moreWait, no. You are confusing them. It's Origin OS, not Oxygen OS. But no, none of these are similar to each-other or Samsung Experience UI or even One UI.

I've used Funtouch OS, but Origin OS is for sure better. I've also used MIUI, so I would rather choose Funtouch over that. I don't know about them giving only 2 major updates, I already received 2 and they confirmed the third one as well.

Display and camera are better on the iQOO 11. LTPO4 is important, it's also much brighter, the camera is helped by the V2 chip and it has a telephoto camera as well.

May i know, did you ever use funtouch and miui system? If had. What os more similiar like Samsung note 9?

Yeah i think camera iqoo 11 not good, so i want get iqoo 11 pro, but just iqoo 11 officially release in my country and the pro didnt come.

So i wanted choose k60 pro, but i heard the rumput k60 has plastic frame instead metal frame like iqoo 11. So i confused better choose k60 pro with good camera but had plastic frame or iqoo 11 good display and metal frame but quality camera lower than k60 pro

mo3mar, 08 Jan 2023I'm really confused right now between the Vivo IQOO 11... moreI highly doubt that this would have better cameras than the iQOO 11.

Yueyin, 09 Jan 2023Hey DarlingYext, From the commnect, i read you use iqoo... moreI love the brand iQOO, but from the 5 Pro, I wouldn't switch to the iQOO 11, because of the 5x periscope telephoto, which only the 5 Pro has for some reason. Funtouch OS however might be good, but my iQOO 5 Pro got updated to Origin OS, which is what the iQOO 11 comes with to begin with, if it's not the international version. I would recommend getting the iQOO 11 over the K60 Pro and get the version with Origin OS.

System update support is awesome when it comes to iQOO's number series flagships, iQOO 5 Pro launched with Android 10, it is now on Android 12 with a planned update to Android 13. After-sales I can't really talk about, in my country an IQOO phone would worth a lot, but that's because it isn't officially sold here.

DarlingYext, 02 Jan 2023No probs. She is Kurumi Tokisaki.Hey DarlingYext,
From the commnect, i read you use iqoo for -+ 2 years, what's your opinion about the brand iqoo especially iqoo 11? and the Funtouch Operation System?
May i ask your suggestion? i was so confused beetwen choose Iqoo 11 or K60 Pro? for my daily i watch content, streaming, read manga, and i like photography. But i confused about operation system (Funtouch) Iqoo 11, is it good? and how long-term system update support for Iqoo brand? and how about service after-sale brand iqoo 11
I heard, K60 Pro has more good in camera quality, but then i want pick K60 Pro, but i heard the frame K60 PRO was plastic, so i confused again, because i will pay +- 600 just for plastic frame. And i never use MIUI Operation System, is it good MIUI Operation System?
My current smartphone was samsung note 9 and i play GI/PGR/BA for daily, i used the phone for my work as software engineering. may i ask your suggestion?

I'm really confused right now between the Vivo IQOO 11 and K60 Pro!
both havd SD 8 Gen 2 and alot of similarities and there differences like:

1- The IQOO 11 display is better with 144hz refresh rate than 120hz on K60 Pro but the K60 Pro have 480hz touch sampling rate than 360hz on IQOO 11

2- The Camera on K60 Pro i heard its better than the Vivo IQOO 11

                                        3- K60 Pro provides 30watt wireless charging while IQOO 11 doesn't.

4- Vivo IQOO 11 is higher in price than K60 Pro and its not wildly famous specially in middle east where i live so the after sale services might be an big deal.

Someone help me to choose, the money i'll put in neither of them, will be for a phone will stand with me at least 3-4 years so this is a big choice.
I love gaming so if i bought k60 Pro with 120hz display is it going to be an issue for 120fps games instead of 144hz display in Vivo IQOO 11 which will handle them perfectly in the future, simply "am i gonna regret choosing K60 Pro" ?
also i love my work as engineer so this will be my phone, gaming device, laptop and my daily device.
give me advice for any phone think with me and if there another phone better than them but him in the battle, i'd like to hear your opinions guys. thanks for your interest and your reply.
