Hardly any network bands. It's like they REALLY don't want anyone outside China using it.

But that price though... can you install a custom OS without voiding the warranty?

stupid6320, 28 Dec 2022Not only that 1440p 120Hz and also the 120W charge. The ... moreA part that costs the company making the phone no more than the sim card slot to incorporate, on a premium purchase, and you think we should be okay with a half *ssed solution at USB 2.0 speeds because company would rather make money off of you buying the larger storage variants? Not to mention that you can't record video to a USB drive, so you'd have to manually transfer and delete it from your internal storage every time you record a video. If it comes unplugged while you're watching a movie or TV show off of it your movie stops. If you want to charge while watching said movie or consuming other media off it, you'd have to buy a dongle. They say you either die young or live long enough to become the thing you swore to never be, and I guess that's true, because you and all the other folks rooting for the removal of the microSD card slot sound a lot like Apple users rooting for the ecosystem after buying an 100$ dongle to get back features that shouldn't have been removed in the first place. Even if it's not a feature you would use, it still benefits the industry as a whole to have the option. The very fact that it's viewed as a bad thing is proof of how successful phone companies have been at convincing us that this wasn't a ploy to earn more profit. When you can buy a 1TB microSD card for 260$ that's fast enough to record 4K 120FPS HDR video, do you really believe that Samsung is spending all 350$ of your 512GB storage upgrade on memory chips?

BMHater12, 02 Jan 2023I swear, why do people on this god forsaken site kept on cr... moreYeah you know what you're right! Why would I want to buy a 1TB memory upgrade for 250$ if it's not running atleast double the speed I need for viewing downloaded content or recording video? Absolutely terrible. Not to mention the terrible gaming performance! Since android 11 apps can't run off the SD card, but like I still need that speed! There's nothing you could do on a smartphone that would max out current generation cards, but it's still too slow! I need the speed! So even though, after all, it doesn't hurt me whatsoever to not have a card slot, but helps millions of other users, I want Xiaomi to keep it removed! Buying a 512GB memory upgrade for 70$ is trash! Who'd want that anyways?!

BMHater12, 02 Jan 2023I swear, why do people on this god forsaken site kept on cr... moreCuz people rather have the third option apart of internal storage, and cloud storage, the choice of external storage that can be switched out once it's full and change it for another one. not many people r willing to pay extra for the cloud storage since they're not as reliable as the sd cards does, many users complainant their stuff disappeared randomly in the cloud storage. On the other hand, sd cards can be bought cheaper and use for a solid 10 yrs and above until it breaks rather than having to pay monthly for the cloud subscription and still worrying about getting hijacked randomly.
