Ask for wireless charging, headphone jack and SD card? Sony is your only choice now. More than a couple of years of software updates too? out of luck, but you can trade your headphone jack and sd card for that if you want (with Apple, Samsung, latest Zenfone)
I just want my new phone to be better than my old one in every way that I will notice. Ripping out stuff I use often is worse.

I don't understand what's wrong if manufacturers offer an other option? Xiaomi sells tons of very similar devices under their different brands. Does it really hurt you if one of these option offers audio jack and SD card? There's more than enough options for you without these features so just enjoy them and stop crying around like a baby because other people have other preferences.
