The display is around 1100 / 1200 nits under direct sunlight(HBM), as for the "4000 nits" marketing, I've only seen people being able to confirm 3000 nits in HDR scenes.

I never forget my former belived Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra 6.8" in the 16/9 aspect ratio i bought this in 2016, later my all time favorite Mate 20X and Mate 20X 5g.
For me this was an awesome period which end little after the Mate 20X release then they all changed the aspect ratio... Who asked for this 😳🤷🏻👿❗
It's not that funny nowadays all the same nearly and mostly minor updates every time a brand release a new serie YAAKKK 🤨

Depends about the display, could hope the 14 ultra have a totally flat panel buuutttt dont think this year.
3 years ago i had the S21 Ultra and the MI 11 ultra after some weeks i sold s21 ultra, 11 ultra i loved much more with the EU rom... Was freaking awesome 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Man why would they make only a 24gb/1tb model, instead of offering lower RAM options at that storage capacity as well. 24 gigs of RAM is completely overkill in a smartphone but people actually use that kind of storage. 16 gigs is less of a waste of money. I'm no "nooo you don't need more than 6 gigs of RAM in a phone" guy, but I also don't need more RAM in my phone than I have in my rather high end PC.

A QHD DISPLAY??? Fantastic. Only the Huawei and iPhone have LHD cuz its between FHD and QHD.

Back to the topic: My point here is simple. This is a flagship phone. There's no plausible reason for Xiaomi to unnecessarily limit things here and there. Midrange Samsung A and M series phones can do it, even the old Motorola G7 Plus can do. Why a flagship can't? This phone seems to have more than enough power for all kinds of tasks.

Is pointless to show off aboud oled display, from billion of colours and right now is "brightness"? Oled is slowly degraded on their durability, recently have a lot case for syber light, from install os update, normal usage, etc. Specially claiming flipping display 600k times, but just 2 month getting syberlight. On secondhand marketplace is flooded by syberlight phone on my country. Technically they cant improving the durability of oled display with those many gimmick feature to show off, even blue pixel is more less durable. In reality oled is not durable, power efficient, and prone to break even on normal usage.
They already dont have any material to boasted their product.
I didnt interested for oled diplay, huge wattage, huge internal if they used inferior modern tech. pfffft. Even the processor become less interesting, since sd 860 is already enough for everday task.

Very little difference in quality on a phones screen anyway and social media and the likes of whatsapp only do HD, sometimes FHD quality. Still find it strange people complain about this lol
