Well, it's true that it's hard to get these hardware components back due to lack of demand = costs manufacturers more than what we think.
But for consumers' point of view, it's better to have more than less in general.

It's a great phone for an even greater price. That is true in every regard except maybe the software with all the problems that could arise in a device made by Xiaomi. But one thing I find hard to digest is the heinous design. I hated Xiaomi Civi 4's design too, which everyone says this is based on. I also hated and mocked the blackview shark 8 which was released earlier than these and... seriously. Am I the only one seeing the similarities? Makes it feel like a cheap phone to me. Wish they had just shipped it looking like Poco f6. Or if they were going for a change, something more like OnePlus 13.

I can still do with a phone lacking an sd-card slot that packs 1TB storage. But the absence of the Jack is an absolute deal breaker everytime.
