It seems that update to MiUI 13 isn't recommended at all?
(Actually I am curious to try)..Maybe I should go straight into a good Custom ROM now?
I want to be on Android 12.

I have redmi note 10. Why does raise to wake up only work for five days? After that I have to restart my cell phone to make it work again. So it was on miui 12.5 and the same is now on miui 13. Is there any fix for it?

The proximity sensor sucks, whenever i get a call, i cant see the screen after I keep it close to my ears. By now I've just accepted it and gotten used to it, I knew about it before I bought it, but I had underestimated how big of a hassle, it was going to be. Battery seems fine, it overheats sometimes. It hangs many many times, and it is very annoying, and phones get restarted quite often. The camera is nice, although to be frank don't have much experience with camera, but the macro lens is just too good.
so to summarize:
camera is very good
battery is average
performance is subpar
proximity sensor is worst

Why Redmi note 10 is extremely issue. Before for the past few weeks before miui 12 is perfectly smooth. And the miui 13 it's smooth anymore. And the other apps just crashed... 😐

After updating to miui 13 android 12.if you are facing lag.you should reset factory your phone.i did it and my RN10 works without lag

Abdul Hanan, 02 Apr 2022The update 13.0.5 version is too much disturb me after upda... moreSorry to heart that mine work wonderfully after update so smooth extremely fast.i had problems with some apps not working after updating but that has nothing to do with the miui 13 it has to do with android 12 computability.So do not forward report to Xiaomi forward it to app developer find it in playstore comments there.i was doing multiple download upto 12 files at one and browsing and watching YouTube same time with no problem.I'm using miui 13.0.5 android 12 global

Note 10 pro... I bought it 2 days ago with 12.5 and everything functioned properly... after update MIUI13.04 when my phone rings and when I answer the call, the phone freezes for 4 5 seconds and then it starts the call... just like like a 10 years old phone 😃

Abdul Hanan, 02 Apr 2022The update 13.0.5 version is too much disturb me after upda... moreIt's better to stick with old MIUI 12. Why do you wanna update unless you want some issue to be resolved. These updates don't "upgrade" if that's the reason you are looking for updating it.
I have some bugs as well. Like sometimes dark mode doesn't work but is resolved switching dark mode on and off. My major issues is that whenever I switch on my phone, I receive no calls or internet notifications unless I unlock it.
But I won't update whatsoever cause I can't handle more bugs.

I just turned it off completely fine and put it on my drawer and next day it didn't turn on nothing else happened
No water damage, no damage, not even a single scratch

Hammad Masud, 02 Apr 2022Probably lolSo issue is not the phone itself but outside cause like conductive dust accumulating in the port then when you plug it in the charger 33w, poof. Better clean your port before charging or using some usb-c port cover.
