T-800, 20 Mar 2022Does the 4GB variant has a better battery life than 6GB variant?Actually the topic about battery usages can be very different from person to person, what apps they installed, their habit of using the phone, their setting, etc. But generally, basically, so far my 4/64 RN10 battery consumption is ok as expected.

GSMer, 17 Mar 2022From my opinion even with previous samsung phones which are... moreIts fine though if you rarely remove your sdcard & always do the safely remove sd card before removal so it wont corrupt data in it. It helps alot to save space in you internal storage & reduces i/o wear for longetivity.

MrSupilami, 17 Mar 2022I've tried that. And it doesn't work at all.Guess its Xiaomi themselves disabled this ability OS wise. I have a Sony phone which im able to move certain User Installed App Data to SD Card(But not all apps) & Enabling In Dev Mode the Force All Apps to External Storage will give all User Installed Apps option to move them to SD Card except System Apps. Forcing it though can cause bugs or crashes so not recommended.
I suggest reporting to xiaomi via their feedback or reporting app to add this capability.

So there's nothing we can do fo... moreFrom my opinion even with previous samsung phones which are much better than xiaomi, moving apps to SD card will always put you in troubles. First, no matter what type of SD card you use, even Samsung's ones, the app will still lag and perform slower on an SD card storage compared to phone storage. Second, whenever you are obliged to remove SD card, and this might always happen, you will be in trouble amd when installing SD card again, some apps might not work and you will need to install them again. So, to make it easy, try to install all apps on device storage, and move files including music, photos, documents, to SD card. You can also access apps settings when possible and make it save to SD card whenever possible and many apps support this. By this, the minimum storage of this device is 64gbs which is more than enough and more than this device can handle.

I hope Xiaomi will give an update to this phone, so it is support to move apps and data to external storage. And it will make this phone more awesome.

Notification center with gray background is more fast and stable than blurred one
And also Xiaomi is treating this as a low end device and removing AAP animations🤦🏻🤦🏻

I search all the ways and settings, and then I downloaded many third party apps to do so, some of them didn't work and others said this device doesn't support moving apps to SD card.

I've been using Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 for 10 month and i still don't know how to move the apps and apps data to external storage.
It's useless when you can expand the storage by using micro SD but you can't move the apps and apps data to the external storage.
Anyone could help me with this problem?

Jellylegs7, 13 Mar 2022How do you do that? And why do you say less stable? I had n... moreYou can downgrade using Xiaomi Flashtool via Windows PC. Miui 13 has alot of bugs like stuttering, lags, & app crashes. Not saying Miui 12 is bug free but it is far lesser than Miui 13.

The apps on my phone a really lagging since updating to version 13. Has anyone found a way around this, or know how soon it is likely to be fixed? Its driving me nuts and hurting my hand!
