I bought the 6Gb RAM 128Gb Storage variant the issue I have with this model so far is the slow file manager. It takes ages to open folders but on my good old Redmi Note 6 Pro it is fast.
Anybody else experiencing the same problem

Been using this phone for a while now and it's quite decent.The battery seems to last better at the first few weeks and then it degrades bit by bit.The amoled screen and the feature sure is mesmerising considering my phone (6gb+128gb) only cost $180.

Guys anybody knows if there is speed dial in this phone or how to activate it? Whenever I longpress any key in the dialer app oy does nothing except for voicemail number.

I... moreI using Xiaomi phones (Redmi, also) since 2017, there was like 10 differente model, and i second that, about MIUI. Then, again, MIUI 9 was great, really great, without any ads, fast (faster than ost UIs from that time), after MIUI 10, for some reason, everythin is slow (even on better hardware-SoCs).. And, about Stock Android... Or Control centre, yes stock Android is not boring like hell (since.. Android Pie, 9, with 10 there is - dark mode, ok, is not black color, but grey, better than white only esp for OLED screens..), yes. Control center, take a look Control center in Android (stock) 12, and tell as, where they get inspiration from. It's the one from MIUI, but not 12, MIUI 10 looks the same. Who knows, maybe Stock software became laggy, slow, like MIUI 12 (not 12.5 or newer).

Lucy, 30 Jul 2021I'm so confused which one is better realme 8 or redmi ... moreRealme 8 camera quality is definitely worse than it's predecessors, even 2 years realme 3 Pro has better camera quality than this device, except their 5G version that pretty solid but lack of 4K and stereo mic. If you want overall reliable shooter, at least go for Poco X3 or Realme 7 (Asia).

The only drawback of this phone should be it's MIUI. I migrated to stock android and since that day i never ever want to turn back. Everything is slow on MIUI, the ram management feels like you're using 2GB RAM device, intrusive ads almost everywhere and bunch of anonymous services running in the background (I hate fishy business), and the worst of the worst is they pretend to be like iOS (control center, etc). Only no brainer mifans who called this UI spectacular.

During low-light photography, the exposure cannot be controlled manually via a slider, as is common in many smartphones.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2021no not really, apples bionic is on par with snapdragon, wit... morebionic is good in cpu not in graphics at all . Like impossible to get 90% stable fps in ultra graphic games at all if compared to sd. no one needs cpu at much since a cpu in a midrange phone can work the same as the flagship ones.

Facing wifi issue even if wifi is connected internet is not working while the same wifi works in another phone.
