Big minus ( but only if its true information here on gsm) They should have come with latest miui 12.50 not with miui 12. What a mistake!

Wtf snapdragon 678?? when at the same price you could have added dimensity 700/720/800 5G cpus team Redmi... why still bother adding 4g chips in 5g era!!? also front camera and punch hole not needed.. just make the entire rear camera unit manually flippable to the front (no motors to keep pricing down.. we can flip it jsing our hands) like asus zenphone 7
WELL DONE ON OLED SCREEN I APPRECIATE IT.. just try to add 90 hz and 180 hz touch sampling if its not too much to ask and keep price 12-14k with the above mentioned modifications and its gonna be bestseller

I'm also satisfied with my Poco X3. If I want better phone than that, I'm going with OnePlus 7T/7Pro/8/8 Pro.
Gsmarena doesn't have many people with good language skills...
I want to buy it as a gift for my father. That's why I'm inquiring about it. I'd like a phone with good cameras, that at least surpasses Redmi Note 7/8.
The concern is due to Redmi Note 9 camera being straight up horrible compared to Redmi Note 7/8. It suggests Xiaomi has stepped back on competing in terms of camera quality, so I'm looking for someone who owns this phone to prove me wrong.

Some carriers, like in India or China don't support some global 4G bands, and that also depends on the carrier. I have a friend that bought a Redmi note 8 "4G", but he only gets HSPA+, because he bought the "chinese" or "india" release of the phone, not the Global one.

The phone is Moderate for gaming (as of now). Redmi note 8's Helio G90T wrecks it hard. Here are the antutu scores result:
Redmi note 8 Pro MTK Helio G90T (CPU: 94K, GPU 81K)
Redmi note 10 - SnapDragon 678 (CPU: 92K, GPU 41K)
You can tell just by running for example PUBG, the "Ultra" settings appears on Redmi note 8 Pro, while it doesnt on the redmi note 10.
*Note that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is released about one an half years ago. So the chipset's drivers have matured and gained about 10-15% performace improvment, so I expect the Redmi note 10 to have some improvments in the future that will shorten the GPU gap.
**Note that the Redmi note 8 Pro is still the Gaming king in this price range.
