The only way to solve this issues created by them (Xiaomi) is to downgrade your phone's ROM, back to the original version they used during launching and promotion in April 2021.
keep ugrading to any MIUI 12.5.x onwards will make the phone worse.
Trust me Xiaomi purposely did this and they will not solve this issue untio EoL of this model.

The battery is draining way too fast and I'm currently still on miui 12.5.4 because some people said I shouldn't have update it to miui 12.5.8. any solution for these?

Not a bad phone, but Poco X3 Pro is miles ahead. I compared them and Redmi Note 10 Pro sucks under pressure...it lacks power.

TP, 22 Oct 2021Do you have any guide that you followed for downgrading MIU... more1. Yes, I had learnt step-by-step guides from the MIUI technical website + forum pages + youtubers when doing MIUI downgrading.
2. It was slightly got different steps on how to downgrade to the stocked MIUI version or to flash it to custom ROMs. I don't like custom ROM because I still want my phone to be genuine Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and enjoying all those benefits I had paid when purchasing this phone.
2. Backup everything to the cloud account associated with your phone + Backup-All from the local folder in phone's storage to the PC.
3. Don't missed or bypass any of the guided steps given, so the phone will be UNLOCKED, RE-FLASHED safely and will not brick. Absolutely safe and less than 30 minutes.
4. Also need to learn and understand some tips & tricks how to DISABLE the ANTI-ROLLBACK script inside the MIUI firmware package. This is the most problematic part I was discovered alone without told by the common guides found in the forum/web/youtube and you may not able to downgrade it ever.. without having this step.
5. After all, you will get back this phone like FRESH from the oven, running smoothly, efficiently and cooler operation. The battery will be charged faster and all excessive heat developed by after upgraded by MIUI 12.5.x totally eliminated. Please do selective update features offered in System Apps after finishing the first-time setup. Make sure it is MIUI 12.0.1.. I don't know about other version behavior nor tested them. SO don't blame anyone and do it at your own risk.
6. Now I 'fall in love' back to my RN10P as it was in April 2021.

Redmi Note 10 Pro is really a great phone's hardware in its class BUT l.. don't ever runs it in MIUI 12.5.XX.. that will RUIN it!
I can promise to you.. MIUI 12.0.1 is the best firmware and balanced for everything in RN10P harware package.
The best and most amazing result is the battery endurance performance.. with a correct setting and base setup, it simply can get 2 days (48hours) and can reach up to 72 hours plus if not playing games or just use as work activity phone.
If your phone in sleep mode or resting in your pocket, it almost not drawn the battery or maybe 0.5% for 4-6 hours depending on your installed APPs and autostart setup.
In contrast if it runs with 12.5.6, the MIUI will ask the phone to EAT as much as 1% per hour of battery power.. CRA8ZY!
I still can't believe after flash-revert-flash between all versions MIUIs since 12.0.1 - 12.5.8, found that the battery drain issues basically were caused by MIUI firmwares.. absolutely in my observation 12.5.xx very2 BAD to your battery..for UNKNOWN reason.
During charging, the phone was generating heats at the back side... but just after roll-back to 12.0.1 with the same phone configuration, apps setting, charging cycle (1-100%) all this heat problems disappeared.
SO to bare in mind the latest MIUI were confirmed killing the phone's battery very soon! This is obviously happen not accidentally or randomly!
SO why we must blindly update the firmwares that known to damage the phone's hardware? Did they the SW staff at Xiaomi just flash the firmware script on their sleeping bed with go through the lab-testing again?
Fine-tune the sound equalizer will turn the phone's speaker like a mini cinema sound bar quality.
How ever this feature only included in MIUI 12.5.6 & above. I can live with out it in 12.0.X. Find another apps to tune up the EQ or by default the speaker is just fine (flat response). Just want to tell, the RN10P has a pair of high quality speakers with best STEREO separation (the speaker location up & bottom).
But the deal breaker of this phone is it's huge battery and the OLED. screen. With these, we could enhance the option. It can last up to 60-70++ hours per charged if optimized setting and controlling the background for not important APPs.
With OLED screen it capable to save more power by using the Dark mode schedule setting at night but user still can perceived best CONTRAST & CLARITY of the images. So it also helps keep our eyes in healthy condition in the dim surrounding.
To get back this phone to its BEST POINT of performance, we must to RE-FLASH the any latest updated ROM into it's original factory-flashed ROM version during the launching season (March-April 2021). Xiaomi used these innitial ROMs to attract the crowds of buyers through out their paid (free set) reviewers around the world.
That's was why Xiaomi dare enough to do this give away marketing with this ROM because they know it, this is the best version MIUI. They would not dare to show off to the public during launching of this phone if the huge battery only would last less than 30 hours or bad camera shutters. Who will buy it if those reviewers expose this issues during hands-on test.
So for my experience, the best one is to FLASH the ROM back to 12.0.1
How to FLASH the ROM? This need further tutorial from the MIUI forum
You need a PC with MIUI Unlock Tool & MIUI Flash Tool.
The process not so hard but need some good understanding of chip flashing and be understood of Mi protocols (this might be harder) and be patient also with Mi term & condition that will obstruct your desire to roll-back the firmware. Some tips & trick need to be learnt to get process runs successfully!
FLASHING the phone ROM is like clean all the system files and everything like empty house. Your phone will turn FRESH as it was dispatced from Xiaomi factory.
Factory resetting is not totally clean-up your phone.. just reset the state after series of upgrades..those disturbing bugs files were still there as hidden files.. thats why the factory reset could be done in just 1-3 minutes.. be understood the definition.
FINALLY my humble advice.. USE your phone WISELY and LEARN to feel how it serve you.. why it cause heating, why the screen lagged and etc.. AND from that point try to understand what is your phone want to tell you through its behaviour.. otherwise if you feel NOT TO CARE of it.. the phone will die very soon.. you pocket will got bigger to spend later..
I don't think so the people now will live without mobile phone for a day.. so bare in mind how to prolong your phone life AS IT IS.
Simply I will not waste any dollar cents of money for just to change/ buy phone every year..that is TOTALLY a waste to the earth & stup1d.. even I have million in my wallet!! THAT's ALL
