Just upgraded to MIUI13 both my & my cousins Note 10s. I did a factory wipe/reset while the other didn't after update but so far no issues on both & seems to be more snappier & stable.
Good job Xiaomi!

SUISEISUKI, 16 Jun 2022Nevermind me, i just did it anyway. MIUI 13 has been great ... moreMe too lol I just went with it knowing al the risks. Surprisingly , my phone didn't get bricked and the update is actually ok. I can see some new and better optimizations and there are still some minor bugs I hope gets fixed with security updates, but yea MIUI 13 gives better battery life(20-30 mins) and for me it has better ram optimization even if it's not a big difference I noticed it when running games and apps simultaneously like I normally do. Tho the whole design didn't really change much just some few tweaks that are good so to say. And some third party apps open like 20-30% quicker but not all.
It also reduces heating a bit when playing games for longer periods and the performance gaming mode doesn't lag like before. Overall it's a good update ( I didn't lose any data or settings while updating) but I think it needs a little more optimizations for it to get to be really stable. That's my own review

Camera suddenly becomes laggy when taking videos with flash: on even at night. This phone is only good indoors, when playing games you'll need a phone cooler or atleast play in front of the electric fan. About the camera, Good stabilizer quality but it has bad front camera. It quickly charges but wont last that long compared to other phones with 5000 mah used with the same intensity.

SUISEISUKI, 15 Jun 2022I just got MIUI 13 update, should i update it? Can anyone w... moreMine's not great. Gyroscope isn't functioning well after the update. I'm playing CODM with gyroscope on but suddenly the gyroscope stopped functioning. Got it fixed by installing a gyroscope test app, but eventually would stop functioning again after some time. Opening apps such as gallery seemed to load a lot slower than previous MiUI and Android version.

SUISEISUKI, 15 Jun 2022I just got MIUI 13 update, should i update it? Can anyone w... moreWaiting for mine! I suggest you backup files to sd card, logout accounts before upgrading then doing a full factory wipe/reset after a Major OS Upgrade from MIUI12/Andoid 11 to MIUI13/Andoird 12.

Transitioning from app to app has become more smoother and battery life is a bit longer, like 15-20 more minutes. Generally, everything becomes more fluid, Ram management is stil shit tho.

My third and worst Xiaomi phone.
Had good experience with Mi5, Redmi Note 7 pro was not bad, but Redmi Note 10S is a crap. There are lots of bugs.
Caller name is not shown during incoming calls, USB Not Connected when phone is connected to PC, sudden WiFi disconnection and reconnection, heating due to simple use - are some unexpected problems I am facing with this phone that I never faced in my previous Xiaomi phones.

One more thing, after you reboot or turn it on, it will start heating for no reason. What i do about it is, after i turn it on, i will leave it for a few minutes in front of a fan or anything that will reduce its heating. After that, it'll work just fine no more heating.

After updation to android 13.01, sms and notifications r blocked. The sender gets a delivery message, but phone does not show the same.. Written to company as feedback but they have not replied or rectified the problem. Samsung has far better software and no problems with same. Further issue with fonts and their sizes also. Too small and everything fits, but the moment it is readable without straining.. Medium, large etc and their is problem with display. Using samsung after Nokia and no problems with heating, software or service.

I have never been as frustrated with using a phone as I have been since I began using this phone. Some on my pictures saved in my gallery just automatically disappears leaving blankness while some other pictures become blurry, just like that. Also the rear camera; it's bad.
