      Ola, 12 Dec 2021has anyone bought this phone in nigeria, whats your experie... moreHello, I am from Nigeria and I bought the phone and it's been up to a month by now. It's a very nice phone considering its price and even has some specs that stands out from the midrange price(e.g Amoled screen, fast charging, earphone jack, nice gaming chipset, IP53 rating for dust and water, dual stereo speakers and an overall great feel for a smartphone). Since this is my first time buying a Xiaomi phone I'm not too sure on how the complaints with the MIUI because as I said my first time using one so I can't really compare it to how it was before. So far the MIUI isn't that bad honestly I guess the ones that were shipped here had fewer to no software bugs/phone problems and I even got to test our some cool features too! But I still hope for the MIUI 13 update early next year.
      Now moving on, the gaming aspects of things I got to say they did well with it, if u are s normal phone user that just plays casual games once in a while u will face absolutely 0 problems regarding it but if u are a heavy gamer like me sometimes if u play one games on the highest settings ( HDR, HD graphics, 60 frame rate) it handles them well but after a while say 1hr+ the homes starts to heat up by a i will say lot and it also drains the battery quite a bit( 20% for 1hr of intense gaming) but with the fast charging and liquid cool u can just take a break, plug the phone and start again in 10mins.
      Now addressing other specs, the camera is good for this price tho I'm not a heavy camera user, for me the quality is really nice but as most cameras it fails in low lighting but in a bright environment u will surely love it. Speakers are good (don't expect too much tho), audio quality is also nice and strong mostly if u play alot of FPS games. One thing I really love is the screen, my first time using an Amoled and up say the quality is way better than the traditional IPS LCD screens. But I also noticed the oversharpening due to the Mediatek.
      If u want ot correct this just go to Settings- Special Features- video toolbox and add the apps that u mostly use to play videos( YouTube, VLC, etc) then once u open the apps, open the toolbox on the upper right and go to STYLE. Change it to either cinema or outdoor mode and the oversharpening is gone but this is still a temporary fix so I hope they solve it in the next update.
      Other things too a nice, I got the 8gb/128gb model so very fast ram speed, multitasking is no problem and u cab toggle between apps easily. Fingerprint is nice and fast to touch and NFC is also available too.
      So in conclusion it's an awesome phone but don't expect but to run like a SD 888 in gaming it also has its limits. For normal daily use its absolutely perfect and even too much. Also good for light, mid and some heavy gaming. But I would say that if u got the money just s little more and u get a slightly better note 10 pro that has a way better camera, gorrila glass 5 on both sides and a good energy efficient chipset). But this one is still very satisfying.

                  1*just like when you buy used desktop monitors and the previous owner messed up with the settings of brightness, contrast and saturation... all you do to fix the monitor is factory reset the settings.
                  2*the issue here with Redmi Note 10S, think of it like someone messed up the settings(xiaomi rolling out wrong settings from factory and never fixed through updates), and hide the way how to access the settings in order to factory reset them.
                  PLEASE XIAOMI FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, FIX THIS GODDAMN STUPID SOFTWARE ISSUE.

But will definitely struggle on higb demanding games like genshin impact. For social or day to day use, pretty good & can last almost 2 days with casual usage eg no heavy gaming or demanding tasks.

                            Hi everyone, hope you're doing great!
                            I'm aware of the issue of display colors not being correctly calibrated, and Hardware Accelerated Video Decoding settings are not set right on this phone, that's why youtube videos look godawful over-sharpened, over-saturated mess.
                            As far as I know, what's responsible of all this, is this display technology called MiraVision unique to MediaTek (reason why Note 10 is perfectly fine, has Qualcomm).
                            NOW, if only Xiaomi would include in the display settings of MediaTek phones MiraVision settings n options, but there isn't.
                            can someone try this solution and see if it works:
                            1-install QuickShortcutMaker from play store.
                            2-open QuickShortcutMaker and search for miravision.
                            3-if you find it, make a homescreen shortcut and open it n see if it works (opens miravision settings).
                            -if you don't find it, then solution doesn't work.

                                This is my 2 ND xiomio Redmi 10 S my 1st phone was stolen after 5 months so i bought same again 8 gb ram 128 storage only fault on both phones is letter L when i type it is always missing from my Tx msg otherwise it is a good workhorse with great wifi

                                  i from Philippines i have a expirnce for using this phone for almost 2months from now first is of blurring of front cam if i want to make a video but its not a big deal for me the quality of taking picture rear and front cam is very nice and im satisfied of it for playing offline gaming like aspalth on my opinion its superberb have a pleasant graphics, for playing COD, Pubg, Coc its good the battery life is fit for my playing time. if you a type of guy love making selfies?? just buy a Desent Camera like Canon or Nikkon or Iphone. and for Hard Gamers better Choice to buy Alienware or buy your own Gaming PC bcoz all phones are not created for gaming is for Communication lols but this phone i recommended for everyone want a budget phone. this is for my 3rd phone for bussness purppose only i rated for full start of it. sorry for poor english.

                                      This phone is one of the useless phones from Xiomi ..
