In terms of screen protection and rear panel, it's a downgrade from the old Note 9S. Only using Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and possibly a plastic back. The Note 9S using Gorilla Glass for both front and back.

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2021It would've made more sense if the Note 10S were a com... morei have a redmi note 9s and i love it. i am not a camera buff so 64 megapixels is fine with me. but what i sense from gsm arena is that this redmi note 10s will not have an ir blaster nor an fm radio!!! totally unacceptable if my suspicions are true. i will have no choice but to buy the xiaomi mi note 10 lite which has all the "blue collar working man" attributes. yes, the 10s is sporting a snapdragon 870 with oled screen, but i would prefer a 10s midranger with a snapdragon 765g, lcd screen, ir blaster, fm radio & dual stereo speakers and headphone jack. xiaomi dropped the ball with this new shallow 10s offering. time for oppo to step-up and rule the midrange market.

It would've made more sense if the Note 10S were a combination of this and the Note 10 5G (instead of being 2 separate phones) and there should've been an even higher tier than the Note 10 Pro called Note 10S Pro that has 5G connectivity.
