Anonymous, 06 Jan 2023Factory Reset the phone before or after updating?Update/Upgrade everything first after that factory wipe/reset if first time out of the box booting the phone.
Or if you haven't done that in a while since Miui11-12-13 & having bugs or issues, then factory wipe/reset would fix most of those bugs or issues.

I just got my Redmi note 10s last month and it came with miui 12.5. I'm planning to keep upgrading to Miui 13, android version 12 buh I want to seek your opinion...

Better get atleast Dimensity 900+ or SD765G+ to get good FPS for Genshin Impact but if just for esports like Mobile Legends, CODM, PUBG, etc. but with mixed mid-low settings then itll be fine.

The new MIUI update V13.0.12.0.SKLMIXM fixed all the problems of my phone (Lag when watching videos, random glitching audio when calling, random phone freeze)

there's this annoying bug that i got after updating to miui 13. bluetooth and wifi would disconnect at random and its so annoying esp if im gaming. it will reconnect after a second but its so annoying. another bug would be the speakers will lower the volume after a few minutes of listening. miui 13 just made this phone worse and im not expecting xiaomi to fix any of this. xiaomi's support sucks

Only issue I had were crashing apps & buggy font when I upgraded from A11/MIUI12.5 to A12MIUI13 but were fixed once I did a factory wipe or reset & disabled Memory Extender to lessen or prevent app crashes & to make it run more stable.
Wifi connects fast even on a cheapo Prolink AC Router, I dont use stock music app but AIMP which is running reliably even when screen is off, even connect it via 3.5mm jack to my speakers with no issues.
Dunno what you mean about force closing apps unless you meant crashing then it never happened on mine even been playing Mobile Legends for upto 3 or so hours.

Lots of bugs. - It is slow to get a Internet signal, my Samsung tab and Vivo phone can get WIFI even faster
- Glitching music
