Phone, 14 Dec 2021Well mediatek processors are more stable for me they have s... moreno they aren't, see, it just so happens that samsung make two versions of their top teir phones, one with exynos chips, the other with snapdragon chips, and not only did the exynos version have worse peak performance, it lost more performance after sustained heavy usage, with the snapdragon coming on top with almost a generational leap ahead, now, this DOES matter because it just so happens that samsung builds their exynos chips using Mali graphics the same one that MediaTek uses for their chips, and unless ARM, the designers of the Mali GPUs fixed this in less than one year, it is impossible for the Mali GPUs, and therefore MediaTek chips to have smoother sustained performance.

Is it a Sony, Samsung, Omnivision, etc.? 2nd Snapdragon usually have better AI Image Processing than MediaTek that somewhat helps crappy sensors get good image quality 3rd How manufacturers optimize their Camera Apps or OS itself, thats why GCam can get good images with their optimized camera app.

I'm used to... moreWell mediatek processors are more stable for me they have smooth consistency meaning it works continously at high speeds even if the device heats up second there no lag in there processors when compared to snapdragon processor devices the screen surely gets frozen for atleast minimum of 5-20 seconds when its overloaded and it reduces the performance of itself after the device gets heated up third engineer mode is available on all mediatek based devices and however my personally favourite option is engineer mode because i can control my device my way and snapdragon processor based phones dont have engineer mode option

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2021It better than Snapdragon 778g socIt's actually not not in the CPU department or even the GPU department. The reason they went with this SoC is because it's cheaper compared to the 778g. Thou it should be noted the dimesity 920 is still a great midrange chip.

Why did xiaomi use mediatek on this phone? I'm used to seeing snapdragon on their phones. Is mediatek dimensity at par with snapdragon or is it better than snapdragon?

Fast Charging, Water-resistant touch screen, Bezel-less design, Facial Recognition, Fingerprint under display, Dual Camera technology, Augmented Reality, 4K display, Virtual 5.1 Surround Speakers, OLED display, Gigabit LTE, and many more. The fact apple hasn't be sued by multiple companies for violating patent laws is beyond me.
