I have used this phone for more than a year and I can say several things about it, if it is priced between $90 and $120 in good condition and with a charger, it is very good, in its price range it is normal to find plastic, if you get the gray version it will be a fingerprint magnet, it is a light cell phone and has splash protection. It has a good amoled screen with good resolution, the only neutral point would be its 90 refresh rate, in general a good screen with decent brightness. In software we have Android 13 and Hyperos 1, which is not bad at all. In the processor, we have a Helio G96 which for basic use, social networks, watching videos is very good, in the games section you can run games, in heavy games they will go in medium or soft graphics, for its price it is fine. This phone does not have high temperatures like others, it will be approximately 30 to 40 degrees. It has a very good type of storage for the price range and with 6 ram it will be very well balanced. In terms of battery, we are fine with 5000mAh, which with basic use can last us until the end of the day, and we have a good 33W fast charge. In terms of cameras, we have 4, the main one, wide angle, macro and depth. In general, the cameras are good, the macro and depth camera are mostly marketing, they won't help much but the results in general are positive, decent, against the light they could be better. The selfie is 16 megapixels, which is very good. The video is good, normal. In terms of sound, we have a double speaker, with good quality. In terms of connectivity, we are fine with wifi 5, we have NFC and an infrared port, what can be improved is the bluetooth. In general, it is a good device if we find it from 90 to 120 dollars.

I received this phone with hyperOS 1.0.1.
Itt seems everything is ok.
I got a New Update hyperOS 1.0.2 but I dont dare to install
Any suggest about New Update?
Phone work perfectly , but heating a Little bit when I use it
Other problem is the slow data speed because of the chipset. Helio G sereies network speed is always slower Than other chipsets.

I got this one from my son and was thinking the speaker on top was broken.
I have made some awful vibrating tunes left/right to see if something would clear it up.
GSMArena is the only one that honestly reports that the top speaker is just the earpiece speaker acting as the right side speaker.
I do Not miss the lack of 5G but i do miss a macro lens, I use that very often for microelectronics or reading fine print and this phone has no option to do that. The camera also is weirdly enough not smart that it recognizes QR or Bar codes, you need a separate app for that.
Battery life is +1 day doing daily stuff. The screen is perfect for riding a bike on a sunny day as navigation tool.
As with any Xiaomi phone it need a bit of cleaning out the spam but it's doable.
sometimes it does lag for a tiny instant (scrolling) and sometimes an app stops working. Its maybe to be expected at this price range? and coming from mi3 up to mi9 it's always been a just not quite 100% perfect but also not a deal breaker :)

I alway having a problem when I'm on video call always lag, hung and freeze, and the audio keep tune up and down, I can't sometime understand what there saying

Where is the screen recording "button" on this phone gone? MIUI 14 not have that option?
I found something similar in the floating windows options, side bar...When i want to record screen, message appears that I need to install new version of screen recording, but in update section on google play, beside another updates, there is no such option. How to solve this problem or should i install some other screen recording app? Thank you.

Hello everyone. This morning the option to upgrade to Hypers OS appeared, 1.2GB. Considering the earlier problems and wiping all the data from my phone as the only option, I was able to get most of the data back.
Is it worth installing Hyper OS, because I read and I'm reading that many people have problems with this new system on this phone? Global version, Europe.

Ok people, i have a problem. Yesterday, some updates app as preparation for Hyper OS hapend. This morning phone not working at all. Nothing. Restarting it self all the time.
On screen is recovery mode, reboot not working, safe mode not working, connecting with MIUI assistant not working...Only option "erase all data"...Global version, Europe. Does anyone have same problems?

simply swipe from the top right or top left corner of your screen and it'll open it up (unless gamebird opens, just tap "> GameTurbo" and it'll go away)
then just turn off the timer from there

Hello everyone.
I have a question. When I open the games and while playing I see 4 small hourglasses. When I click on them, they start counting. I can't get them off the screen until I exit the games.
I don't have this "problem" in other applications. Does anyone know what this is?
Phone is global version, Europe.
