Anonymous, 04 Dec 2022I agree no sd card and no radio is total DEALBREAKER for me.SD card is useless with android 11 and above. The scooped storage slows down the storage performance (both internal and external) by 20-30 times. With such reduction in performance, external cards become too slow to be useful.

No SD Card slot. Hard pass on this one. I would rather choose Samsungs nowadays to replace my Redmi Note 9 Pro cause they arent lazy to update and fix issues, not update and improve issues.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2022you can also whitelist then from optimization in battery se... morei WAS thinking the same when buying note10s & note10 5g. thinking it's just a bug i then bought note11pro5g by thinking it won't have the same problem. 3 series the same problem. alarm clock failure 80%. seems like it's not a bug, but the core of miui itself.
currently with "autostart" enabled. "battery optimization" not optimize. "app battery saver" no restriction. "miui optimisation" turned off.
BUT STILL, the boss miui overrides all of them. alarm clock is now at around 30% failure. previous phones I've used never have that problem. samsung vivo iphone.
If you don't care about alarm and notification, then xiaomi would be excellent. built quality like a samsung flagship. i don't use case, it survives drop. it survives rain. surprisingly, the BACK camera is better details than samsung A series, though the color is more beautiful in samsung.

Tip! Excempt the apps you want to run in background from battery saver.

Be aware, xiaomi's miui performs shutdown to all apps "indiscriminately" to save battery or whatever. if you want to buy any xiaomi, expect to have many alarm clock fail, and many notifications to miss. (a user of note 10 and note 11 series)
