Laggiest phone I have ever used. Also Glass Protection 3 is almost useless as I have only used the phone for 1 month and the screen is smudged up so bad to a point where playing games is downright impossible. Meanwhile my old phone from 2021, still works fine, and the screen still works despite occasional drops.

I've been using this phone for one year now(Redmi note 12 4g,8gb ram, 128gb storage). The phone is great no question about that, if anyone tells this phone is slow it's clearly a fake one or it's the 4gb ram version.
I use the device for daily social media i can get 7 to 8 hours 20-100 battery with this. 5min of charging - 10% battery gain. The only COMPLAIN i have is the camera app is garbage, NOT THE CAMERA its the CAMERA APP, i installed gcam and it drastically changed the picture quality.
I play cod mobile sometimes and the phone heats up after 3 multiplayer matches, Insane multitasking (2 apps as split screen + 2 floating windows = 4 apps at once). Display is amoled so it has great colours and pitch black.
During the first days of using this device(released in January i think) it did felt quite laggy on the animations, now i can clearly say it is fixed after the newer updates.
I bought this phone in my country for about 58000rupees (194$) so the price was unmatched during that time.
I live in a south asian country so it's warm out here and i wouldn't blame the heating. Well the phone doesn't boil when doing little things it only heats when playing high process games, direct sunlight usage and camera(this isn't concerning all phones with advance cameras heat up, that's how they work).
My thoughts are this phone is worth buying, but only buy the 6gb or the 8gb ram one.

do NOT buy this phone, i was unlucky enough to get it for my birthday, i realized a few months later, it can bend. Like most Redmi phones, i did once have a 10C, but it bent horribly.
I am going to get a samsung/iphone after my other birthday happens.

This phone is not good for heavy gaming. If you want the cheapest gaming 4G processor buy a Helio G99.

My father bought t... moreAnd nah, he didn't buy at the official Redmi store, he bought it from a phone retailer because in our place malls have many phone retailers (e.g: Aerophone, Games and Gadgets, etc) Besides, the official Xiaomi redmi store has Redmi Note 13, Pro and Pro plus. They even advertised it outside, and they even had appliances which I find it cool.

This phone's performance is so bad. My father bought this for me because the sellers at the mall said that "it's good for gaming as it is for gaming amoled". Talking about bad grammar and I also told my father to refund the phone as there is a similar phone at that price that has the Snapdragon 695, Stereo speakers, 108mp camera. (I was talking about the Oneplus nord Ce3 lite bc it's at the same price with redmi) but my father didn't listen. Now I used my old phone (because it is better)

after 8 months used, i can say it's cheap phone everything is normal like camera performance. but one thing, this phone isn't suitable for asian countries that has overheating problem. it's good when cold days but in summer you can use it as heater

my region sold with no NFC, useless to use for TNG payment. camera, it's quite blurry after 1 year used.

My father bought it and it's kinda decent for it's price. Problem is that it lags when recording a game. Still wish he bought a POCO X6

It'll be 8 months on July 2nd, and all I can say that it's a perfect daily driver for social media people. Yes, it has irksome bugs here and there, but barely problematic. Further, my Note 12 has good battery life; it's giving me a solid 7-8 hours SOT for social media and video content consumption. My gaming experience has been okay-ish with medium graphics games. No, the Redmi Note 12 isn't a phone built for PUBG/FREEFIRE/CODM-esque games. Although you can play these games, but at a cost; battery drains, throttling, heating, etc. In other words, you'll stress out the phone and cut its age to half - or less.
P.S. I'm using black themes/wallpapers to keep the Amoled screen going hale and hearty for at least 2 years.
P.S.S I definitely recommend this phone to social media people. Last but not least: nor better, camera sucks big time.

i heard that A24 sometime have problem with its keyboard
but the note heating is more than A24
whats your idea if you use it
