      Here where I live this phone's price has been decreasing around 10% every 3 weeks since it was released. It's basically the same price as the Redmi Note 11 now. Xiaomi tried too hard to price it higher but this phone is hardly a meaningful upgrade from previous generations.
      While tech people talk a lot about HRR screens and how great they are, I believe most people outside this world simply don't care that much, iPhone 12/13 continue to sell like hotcakes for their overall performance, regardless of their 60Hz screens.

          I bought this phone last week, in most things it's good. Mine doesn't have FM radio app. And the 120 herz screen doesn't work as well as it should.

                    Bought the Note 12 4G in Malaysia at a good price RM799... cheaper than Note 11... FREE Redmi band 2 and Mi Power Bank (Total worth abt RM200)...So far I find 120 Hz good... Phone battery drains faster than Note 11 though... could be because of 120HZ???

                    But sad that the Malaysia unit DOES NOT have NFC!!! they should inform before the purchase is made.
                    Prefer the size of Note 11 though hahaha

                          So SD685 is actually using cortex A73 and A53 and adreno 610 ??....maan thats the spec of redmi note 8. Basically this SD685 is SD665 with smaller nodes and some minor touch

                              Hello there. i bought the redmi note 12 (6/128gb) a few days ago, the global version i assume. and i present an issue well im seen it as it. the overheating present it after using less than 20 minutes. from 29 °c to 39°c pretty fast in my opinion. what can i do? which could be the problem?

                                For those saying this phone is overpriced, and hope for upgrade from the previous gen, I would say you are simply asking too much. For sure with everything about inflation caused by the strong country which made these smartphone including the parts, also the third party manufacturer which also increase the pricing, the price increase is unavoidable, unless you can settle with other competing brand such as Infinix. Another thing is the upgrade in entry level of smartphone is very minimum, just some very minor upgrade on processor, or very minor upgrade in camera. You can also say that the market segment is shrinking as more and more user has upgraded to better but more expensive smartphone after using entry level smartphone. Like it or not, now you get AMOLED screen, 120hz screen, type C port (even it is still USB 2.0), fast charging and big 6.67" 1080p screen on entry level smartphone, which is around 5 to 6 times cheaper than iPhone 14 Plus of 128GB. Bear in mind if one day I already get used to these high end smartphone, I would one day settle down with these not too shabby entry level smartphone if my current smartphone is broken, which I can still do social media, chatting, NFC payment, Android Auto, GPS, listen to music, watch video, just don't do heavy gaming, also need to bear on the slower but still acceptable performance.

Try to find big brand how Samsung/OPPO/Vivo will char... morethe expensive prices itself is a scam and a tax we have to pay without any guilt , and there is the downgrade in soc which is the most important part in any device without talking about other parts which in many cases getting worse too , let me tell you that note 12 4g have the same gpu power of redmi note 7 and only have about 33% more benchmarks score and guess what note 7 had a better camera which can record 60 fps while note 12 4g can't that what you got after 5 years and yes all other brands are the same not only xiaomi
