Nice screen spec but the bezel is quite thick than what i expected, the rest are pretty nice, i mean, sure, 680 but on creatine and the degraded amount of speaker aside.

AhmedSLL, 30 Mar 2023You can get the redmi note 11, less money for the same thin... moreNote 11's software is terrible and it doesn't have a real proximity sensor so there are a lot of problems. You should buy note 12 it will be better

AhmedSLL, 30 Mar 2023You can get the redmi note 11, less money for the same thin... moreActually I was about to buy that one, but ended up with a Redmi Note 12 4G (4GB RAM + 128GB) for little more than 200€ (on a tax free purchase). Having android 13 already installed, along with the hope of more updates, seemed like a good reason to pay for the difference. I'm not a custom ROM guy, so I really like updates.

I think Xiaomi had me in mind when they made this phone 😉 I use phones for daily tasks, like personal and work stuff. I don't install games or any other sketchy apps, so I don't really care about cutting edge processors. Give me something with a good screen, decent camera and a usefull battery life. Also, I will gladly pass the 5G shallow benefits for now.
Having said that, the phone is fast and everything feels snappy and quick to open. The camera is fine for a phone. On the negative side the speaker volume is somewhat lower than usual, but I guess that's all I can point to.

Jemlim, 25 Mar 2023Snapdragon 685? Hope it does better than 678Don't get your hopes up, the 680 was behind 678 by a long run(proven by RN10 and RN11's benchmark tests), and 685 is just a barely upgraded 680 so there's no way this could fare against 678.
Best case scenario is it matches the 670(beefy but unoptimized) chip or the 665 and 662(both a decent all rounder) chip.

Jemlim, 25 Mar 2023Snapdragon 685? Hope it does better than 678The leaks say otherwise...
If I were to guess, the SD685 is just an overclocked 680. With the big cores going up to 2.8GHz (maximum for Cortex A73).
