Jihan, 28 Jan 2024How was the speaker????The mono speaker's sound on the Redmi Note 12 is decent and isn't a deal breaker at all. Besides, people use earphones and earbuds nowadays more often than relying on the built-in speakers.

          Good phone for the price. Camera is rubbish, that's the only drawback but at this price point I didn't expect much. I have the 8/256GB variant and I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy A52S

              raiden1, 23 Jan 2024how to uninstall bloat ware?Just go to settings and apps, uninstall the ones you can do.
              Some apps can't be uninstalled, you will see the option to disable them.
              At the end some apps can't be deleted or disabled, you can clear all of their data.
              You can also disable the notifications of any app and also disable their data usage if they are getting annoying.
              That's it. ✨

                Anybody who is worrying about the Hyper OS and android 14 update, don't worry at all. It works totally fine after update.
                I have 8 GB ram and 128 GB storage variant, I found no complains after updating, things are fine... ✨

                  Bought this phone some weeks ago, as every device has pros and cons. Redmi note 12 4G has the pros I noticed:
                  - Display is very good
                  - Charging is super fast
                  - 120 Hz is smooth
                  - UFS 2.2
                  - Side mounted fingerprint works very good
                  - Snapdragon 685 gaming performance excluding PUBG mobile is good, I played call of duty mobile and other games, they ran very well.
                  In PUBG mobile it is not bad but kind of okay

                  The cons I noticed:

                  - Camera is decent but could be better
                  - UI is decent, could be better

                  Overall a good phone if you are not a big camera user in budget phones category.

                    I updated to hyper os 1 day ago and its very smooth but i dont like 4 things
                    1. Gesture animation bugs out and sometimes unresponsive
                    2. I dont like new control center
                    3.they removed in video tool box the ability to listen to videos with screen off
                    4. The 50mp mode in camera app is bugged and doesn't work

                        Updated to HyperOS. No surprise. It is actually MIUI 14.5 nothing changed. Remained boring MIUI. Xiaomi failed3....

                          It is a fantastic phone. Just got the hyper OS it is even more smoother than MIUI. Just uninstall bloat ware if you want to have the best experience. I have 8/128 variant and it is best for my daily basis phone. It is running android 14 after the update.

HyperOS may be power-efficient, but it's a new Xiaomi operating system with superlative updates only top-tier midrange and flagship phone can handle.
