Hy guys
My phone is currently running on miui 14 I have received the hyper os update
What would be the best choice wheather to update to hyper os or just remain with miui 14

I am afaid the hypoer os update will just ruin this well working miui 14 :-(. Interesting that some phones work well other on the other side became laggy full of issues... this is shame strongly on xiaomi. never xiaomi again to buy. Old sammy much better

I bought it on June 14th, it's a good phone, but the apps close even in the background. Also, some games crash and are not supported. Well, the phone is good for your money, but it's better to take the Redmi Note 10 pro, good for your money.

Updated to HyperOS yesterday. I would consider this a small update as it only changes some app icons, app design, new control center (not transparent, lame) and a new lock screen style which doesn't really give a lot of customizations. Very few features were added for Note 12 4G. No performance degradation though and I haven't noticed any battery life changes at all which is fine. Not really impressed with HyperOS because of the limited features it supports for this device. The phone still works fine anyway.

I don't why some pple are complaining about this HYPEROS have updated my REDMI NOTE 124G and it flawless everything is perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯

I think this phone is fantastic. The 8gb version doesn't lag at all even if I have many apps on. Gaming is a lot better than I thought. Screen is great, battery-time good. Mine version has NFC.
It looks great aswell.

I bought Redmi Note 12 on Nov 1st... battery was great, but in just 2 months it's endurance has diminished; showing only 23 hrs n some mins remaining on 88% charge. Around 7-8 hrs of battery on moderate use and 4-5 hours on high social media/YouTube videos. Can anyone please mention there remaining battery 🔋 on their Redmi Note 12 and on what percentage remaining.

Prolog, 04 Jan 2024Glad I didn't updated to the HyperOS and considering t... moreSadly,ive'd updated mine to HyperOS and it sucks & that its almost a downgrade in UI atleast for this device(from miui 14)..so many restrictions on features esp on lowest end on the line(note 12 4G)..no transparent blur,and dont they brag bout he new DIY lockscreen wich is by default ,by the way, on a full pledge stock Android 14! so we wont have to beg for it..so why xiaomi,thos was really was a heartbreak😭😭🤦

Sadly, intermittent price cuts of this phone keep coming 😭 so I'll be at a loss selling it but worth to buy an Infinix or Tecno this time.

its not old cpu its Mid range low consumption cpu
u get rhis phone not for Gaming or pro photography, actually for simple task and some light gaming WHITOUT GETTING HOT. ( PLAYING COD MOBILE ON 60 FPS IN LOW AND I CAN SAY IT IS GREAT FOR THIS PHONE, WONT GET BETTER IN THIS SEGMENT)
Dont write something u dont even know about it..
Mid range maybe one of the best in this price tag.

For gaming.. don't expect more; just set in low settings or lowest,
