Don't ever buy this phone. I like Xiaomi phone so much and liked this phone a lot until it suddenly stopped working. You might be asking why is that? Did I dropped the phone? No. Did I damaged it in any way? No. I took it to a service center to find out that it's a chronic issue with this phone and it's CPU is damaged (check CPU reball in YouTube) . I'll never buy a Mediatek phone ever again. It gets so hot that it melts the micro solder under the components it's unreal. All those Snapdragon fanboys out there wasn't wrong.

Getting 45% off the initial release price for a brand new smartphone is great. Having this for 3 months has been going great. Only problem is sometimes it gets hot for gaming and inconsistent brightness

its the worst mobile ever purchased it heats a lot that u fell uncomforatble while calling that your ear may get heat from the mobile
And turning on flashlight for 5 min it shows a msg that phone got overheated
we cannot use mobile
And my mobile got proximity sensor failed and earpiece failed the WORST MOBILE EVER
NEVER BUYING REDMI'S AGAIN

Im also interested in this phone since its on sale here in my area for 6990.you said it heating up when gaming?how about for casual use like social media,surfing the web and yt,still crashes?im not into gaming.im not too familiar in xiaomi since im using samsung eversince.planning to buy a new phone to replace my almost 7yrs old samsung j4plus.but samsung is not practical anymore,at this price 6990 samsung offer a06, low spec phone without charger.

hi bought this phone in the Philippines 8/128 variant for around $135. For the price its very good, it has good camera fast charging amoled, but my problem is it heats up pretty fast and playing mobile game sometimes its crashes the game which force me to restart the game which is really frustrating.
p.s: sorry for my grammar and been using this phone for 2 months, and im still grateful i manage to buy a good phone.
