Lyazi Eric Jjombwe, 15 Mar 2025It's really depends on what we're using itEh, I don't use it that heavily, that's the odd thing about this phone, even when I go to sleep, during the night, it drains at least 20%, and that's with wifi off and on airplane mode, and I turn off most of the notifications so... I don't know what's causing for it to drain so much battery, maybe a faulty unit? I wonder sometimes if this phone really has 5000 mAh as advertised, compared to my old phone (Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho) that had same capacity, that one last me full three days without charging 🤷♂️

is it just my phone or the battery drains very fast? it doesn't last me a full day, I already looked for apps that could drain the battery but don't find one. I just play COD, text and call, so I find it weird that I have to charge it basically everyday. ://

This phone came with nice design particularly on the cameras and flash arrangement. Moreover, the main camera ring size with raised ring and the way Xiaomi left the rest 2 accompanied camera are just fit to my eye. And they were placed on the raised rectangle panel that gave an extra nice look. In case it didn't come with thick bezel on bottom side of the screen, I might say it is actually flagship design. I am not user of this Xiaomi Redmi note 12s type phone therefore I don't speak about its software and hardware here.

Idk why people hate on this phone I had it for two years and no problems I run 90fps on any game max graphics

yes g series processors are good for gaming but not good for battery as they overheat and eats the battery.i had a redmi 9 and after a years i have to sell it cuz battery was eaten away by overheating.not good due to overheating and bettery drain.

Used Redmi Note 12S for one year, and while the hardware is sufficient for general day-to-day use, the phone tends to lag a little especially when Second Space is used. The OLED screen does not have any protection, shatters VERY EASILY even with minor drops from one metre height that most other phones would survive. Invest in good shockproof casing if you ever buy this phone.

First of all,those games are too heavy for this phone to run properly with good graphics because the chipset is literally so weak.Second of all,that chipset is fabricated on a 12nm node,which makes the phone heats up very easily.Last of all,this phone doesn't have a cooling system to dissipate the heat from the phone,which lead to frame drops and overheating while you're playing any of those games.Do you even have a cooler with you?
My suggestion is:you gotta go get something WAY BETTER than this phone(if performance is the only thing that matters to you then get something with a powerful chipset but with a cheap price like the Poco X6 Pro.There are also the Chinese IQOO Neo/IQOO Z phones but that depends on whether it is sold in your country online or offline OR if you want a Chinese phone or not)or maybe find something with a similiar price to this but with at least a more power efficient chipset.
