No Sd card on a midranger ? Hard pass. Garbage device
Mediatek 6080 is literally a tiny bit better than Snapdragon 4th gen 1 from last year. But very minor update for not including SD card. Knowing Xiaomi, Camera's will be same as last year and barely any updates.

Entry level phone by 2023 standards. Screen looks nice from the photos though.

even redmi 12 has better SOC than this. this phone will never get custom rom support due to MediaTek not releasing the source code of their drivers. I hope Xiaomi will use one of the snapdragon 4 serie SOCs in their global version of the phone.

crazy cheap and lucky thing is that i havent bought the redmi note 11 or redmi note 12 as
ive got a feeling that they will release a cheap phone this year and it turned out to be true
!

100MP + 2MP is definitely the combo of all time lmao.
At least the rest of the phone looks good though.
And the jack lives for another day.

I guess this dubs as the "5G" version, which in the SoC department feels like a downgrade from the decent Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 the Redmi Note 12 had... But it compensates with a better main camera and a better screen.
