Hello! I'm thinking of buying this phone, I love to take pictures and the 3x zoom sounds good nevermind it's digital. But if this phone isn't soo good can yall recommend me something better for the same price, I'm on a tight budget.

It's snowing Snapdragon 665

Me, 18 Feb 2024May be you don't even have a phoneI have this phone, I really like it but he's right they should have used the G99. It seems like Xiaomi feels pressure to keep the mainstream Redmi Note on Snapdragon all the time but I think those customers who used to be obsessed with Snapdragon have grown up and they realize that Mediatek chips are just fine: but repeating the same processor for two generations is something that's gonna turn a lot of people off - especially since it wasn't really a great processor to begin with. Samsung has a G99 in their A15 which is way cheaper. So now Samsung will have better chip and better OS for way cheaper! This choice of chipset was a mistake. I think they should have rather kept the old 50mp camera and upgraded the chipset instead. Photo and videos quality haven't really improved that much with the 108mp camera. I love this phone, for me it's great - I really wanted the in-display fingerprint and the small bezel design so I don't mind SD685 - but many typical Redmi buyers will mind.

Amazing smartphone , very fast and the screen is flagship level, the camera is perfect ,very smooth.

Should anybody be spending that kind of money on a 4g only phone anyway??? I don't think anyone should spend more than 240 on a 4G-only phone in 2024, so in my opinion the Note 13 Pro 4G makes no sense. You can get a Samsung A34 for the same money where I live. The SD685 on this one is fine, I haven't had issue with it. It actually performs better than the G96 I had in my Realme 8i. I don't play games, I don't edit videos for tiktok. It's fine if you don't do such tasks.

No animated wallpapers, no notification history - I even noticed my Galaxy a04e spare phone has adjustable brightness for the flashlight - redmi note 13 4g doesn't. I also hate how the status bar at the top only shows 3 notification icons even though there is plenty of space for more. I hope hyper OS delivers becausez I love the hardware but I am far from being impressed by the software

I just bought the Note 13 an I really like it a lot but it's not so mind-blowing that a person with a Note 12 really needs to switch. The cameras are the usual Xiaomi - decent enough main sensor, ultra wide atrocious. Honestly the best part is the display brightness - but everything else is good enough on the Note 12 - keep your existing phone or try another brand entirely.

I had to buy this Redmi Note 13 4G (8GB/256GB) because the 5G version was not available in any of the local stores where I live (Venezuela), however, I must say that I am very pleased, as it is a replacement for my Honor 10 Lite (more than 4 years of uninterrupted use).
In general, it is a very good team, for someone who is not demanding in games. The cameras... well, comparing them with those of my Honor 10 Lite, obviously the main one is superior (108MP of the Redmi vs 13MP of the Honor), however I have the feeling that the Honor's is more accurate, when I try to capture codes QR from a screen (it costs a lot to recognize); while the front camera, although the Honor's is of greater capacity (24MP vs the Redmi's 16MP), the Redmi's is more adequate.
I must say that I was able to buy the 8GB/256GB Redmi Note 13 (4G) for $200 (with its accessories) plus a free screen protector... and just 3 days later it was on special offer for $185 (in Venezuela).
The hardware version is that of the Latin American market: it includes FM radio but no NFC.

I'm contemplating upgrading from my Note 12 4G to the Note 13, but I'm hesitant because the Note 12 is more expensive in my country, and I'm not sure if the upgrade is worth the risk. I'm particularly interested in a better camera.

Bought it on a whim.
The camera is not bad but not good either, it's kind of noisy, my redmi note 9s shots are way better.
The Screen is a huge upgrade.
Under display fingerprint sensor is nice to have.
But i guess i'll keep using my 9s for a little longer.
May start using this one when it gets HyperOS.
