        But m,ost people on planet arent a tech geeks.
        In other words if they look at the basic specs in a shop they see a 200 Mpix camera phone with price of 350 they will be like WoW same goes for many else specs readable from phone stand or a specs sheet next to a phone.
        Those who arent tech geeks which is majority. Will be exactly like this bigger numbers is better for them and will make them buy.

                    Another important benefit of having a snapdragon chip is the ability to download gcam port. This phone is gonna be skipped by me like the 12 pro 4g. Shame on Xiaomi for not selling the 5G models in my country.

                      Just because some countries don't have 5g network doesn't mean that people there want a downgraded phone. Previously I wanted to buy the redmi note 12 pro but my country got the piece of shit pro 4g. This year again we're getting another pos with a helio g99 instead of the snapdragon 7 gen 2. We get the same pro plus 5g but a downgraded pro and a standard note. I'm done with xiaomi phones, they used to be good value.

                        69GigawattCharging, 19 Dec 2023If the specs are true then this phone is a Dead on arrival.... more"Dead on arrival" is an exaggerated affirmation, mainly because the said Ultra version of Helio G99 wasn't even confirmed by Mediatek so far. There's no way to judge because there's no official info yet.

                        However, I totally agree with you about the pricing. Xiaomi is going insane asking $350 USD for this phone. It surely has decent specs and stuff, but other phones offers more for the same price or even a bit less money.

                                We all know that G99 doesn't support 4k video so I'm assuming this so called "Ultra" variant is to support the 4k video but why bother making an "Ultra" variant and not just use other SOC like the 7 Gen 1 or something else? Plus at this price it suppose to get a better SOC than this G99 otherwise it's not worth it
