The latest 7-series chipset from Qualcomm is fabbed on a 4nm process and features an eight-core CPU with 4 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency units humming at 1.9GHz. The 7s Gen 2 is a step behind the 7+ Gen 2 in terms of connectivity with a less capable FastConnect 6700 connectivity system. Elsewhere, Redmi Note 13 Pro (Xiaomi 2312CRAD3C) will feature up to 16GB RAM as per the listing and boots Android 13, presumably with MIUI 14 on top.

Xiaomi also confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will launch with the Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset which leaves the regular Note 13 as the only missing link ahead of the announcement.

More like the latter. Samsung produces the chip > You use it and it's getting hot > Thermal throttle a.k.a performance is automatically slowened down to reduce the heat.

There is no problem with 4 gen 2 and 6 gen 1. I think the overheating and battery life problem is due to the cortex a710 + cortex a510 core not being well optimized.
