Why couldn't they just use D6300 or SD 6s Gen 3? D7025 is a rubbish chip with bad thermals and no Vulkan support, the latter makes this thing unable to play modern games that require Vulkan. Disappointed.

Disappointing that my old one has som... moreYou're right, as we know, once in a while only, Xiaomi released good Redmi Note/Redmi Note Pro series, but not always.
I considered the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro are one of the rarity good ones of them. After that, not so much, except probably (some of) the 13, but it seems the 14s are not.
I have the RN10, RN11, learn about the 12, 13 & 14, but perhaps I would prefer the rn13 (even the 4G ones) over the RN14 (maybe the RN14 Pro can be the exception).

is horrible how xiaomi keeps snapdragon for the pro+ now. the original note series should always have snapdragon. those pro and pro+ should just improve on camera and sensor specs. now the note14 is going to burn like crazy for heavy users like me. if not for the operating system limitation issue, note 13 probably a much better choice. xiaomi needs give the phones more integrity instead of keep playing around the storage and chip while keep camera specs (front cam) useless and stagnant series after series
