          Genuinely don't understand why they decided to make the bezels large again on this model. The tiny bezels on the Note 13 4g was literally one of its main selling points. The camera/LED bump on the 14 4g is also completely unnecessary and only made it look cheaper compared to the more simple look of the 13 4g. The specs don't justify these downgrades in my opinion and I personally wouldn't "upgrade" to this phone if I have the 13,12, or even 10 model.

            don't change it to a device with g99 or g100 chipset

            even if u have a device with g95, g96, g97

                r way too much better to grab a phone with G99

                G99 first time used in POCO M5 ( almost 2 & half year ago)

                POCO M5 still selling like in germany... 4/64...107€

                    SoC is not just CPU.
                    Helio G99 has two main advantages, I'll give you that:
                    1) Newer and much improved manufacturing process (6 vs 12 nm).
                    2) Up to ~15% faster CPU as is OC because of above.
                    + some minor:
                    3) GPU is faster or not depending on device and tests.
                    4) Supports FHD+ 120 Hz refresh rate.
                    5) Newer BT 5.2 (G95 has 5.0) + UFS 2.2 storage (G95 has 2.1).

                    However, Redmi Note 10S doesn't overheat at all. Sure, frame rate in games is incosistent, but CPU and GPU don't trottle.

                    Helio G85 over G99:
                    1) Superior DSP / VPU - can playback 4K UHD 30 fps videos and supports HDR10 and HDR10+ (MiraVision).
                    2) Superior ISP - can encode 4K 30 fps, HD in slow motion (240 fps) and much better camera support.
                    3) Has NPU (AI accelerator block) which G99 lacks.

                            I'm not defending the use of this old chipset however, I really wish Mediatek innovated or Qualcomm became more of a challenger in the 4G market because this is just sad.

                                Xiaomi nowadays producing trash phones comparable to Transsion. Redmi series are no longer value for money phones. They keep increase the price every year while giving specs downgrade for each iteration. I guess I'll just stop buying Xiaomi and buy Samsung instead. OneUI is miles ahead than trash HyperOS
