Anonymous, 23 Mar 2025my exprience & evidence that u can see it online i w... moreWhy should I read coments from someone when I have four Xiaomi phones in my house (one of them is this note 14 pro plus) and other appliances from Xiaomi. I also have phones and other appliances from samsung, was having from apple and get rid off it, vivo phone too, motorola too. Vivo is okay and samsung is okay, motorola is kinda boring and outdated. The best overall phone is Xiaomi. My personal opinion. In my samsungs phones are real proximity sensors and sometimes they don't turn off the srceen or turn it on then I need to pull it from the face a bit and back to face again so it can turn it off. Sometimes that happens with xiaomi too but that's not that big of a deal, and yes I'm using a lot of phone cos of my work like 1500-2000min of talking. So only problem with proximity is not with xiaomi phones, samsung has it too with their virtual and even real proximity sensors that from 10 times once it doesn't turn off the screen or turn it back up with no reason and phone is on my face all the time. All comments that I write are from my personal experience and I don't write from someone saying this or that, and I'm not a fan boy of one particular brand and defending it at all costs. I use all brands and like to change and try something new always.

i also see ppl complaint about call issue(very bad) & proximity

go & read comments about it
1 in 4...u must be lucky to get a phone from redmi without call issue
ppl always say that we have it

they build with back metal & frame metal
just redmi note 6 was came with plastic frame, but back body was metal too

Does the proximity sensor in this model work properly during calls? In previous Xiaomi phones I had, I experienced issues where the screen wouldn't always turn off or would turn back on when held to my ear. How does it perform in this model?

I was waiting for these phone but surprisingly Xiaomi removed the telephoto lens and replaced it with a macro lens. It turns it to a high mid class to low mid class. (Also battery capacity and charge speed has changed) Of course, I changed my mind. Do not buy this, buy cheaper redmi note 13 pro+ or if you have budget, buy Xiaomi 14t or 14t pro.

Don't buy global version of redmi note 14 pro+, China and India version have 50mp 60mm telephoto lens and more battery capacity at 6200mah with 120w charging

I give him my opinion cos I have both of thos phones in hands. Both phones has under display fingerprint and trust me it is very very fast, face unlock is fast too but I dont like using it in any phone. To me 14 pro+ is better than 11t pro cos it has better display with higher resolution and it has hyper os and 3-4 years of updates and security patches.
