Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 gets a new color in India
The Space Black, Neptune Blue and Moonlight White colors of the Redmi Note 8 already available in India are joined by a fourth gradient today - Cosmic Purple.
The Cosmic Purple model comes in two memory versions - 4GB/64GB priced at INR9,999 ($140/€130) and 6GB/128GB that costs INR12,999 ($180/€165). Both variants will go on sale in India from November 29 through Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
The Redmi Note 8 is built around a 6.3" FHD+ LCD and comes with a Snapdragon 665 SoC under the hood. It has a 13MP selfie snapper on the front and around the back is a 48MP camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor units.
The smartphone runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box and ships with a 4,000 MAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It also has a fingerprint reader on the back for bio-metric security.
