note 9 pro is not the competitor or successor of Note 8 pro. Not 8 pro was a better option then, than note 9 pro is now. But "Note 9 Pro Max" is the successor of "Note 8 pro" . so people who are looking for an actual upgrade of "Note 8 pro" must go for "Note 9 pro max" now. unfortunately note 9 pro and 9 pro max are almost same except the 48MP and 64MP camera and some minor differences. and never ever compare falgship phones with Redmi note serise. they are good but not that good.

Kykyblaze, 15 Apr 2020The camera in RN9P is 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor which... moreTo correct you , in redmi note 7 pro they used 48 mp , Sony imx586 , in redmi note 8 pro - Samsung 64mp GW-1 , in redmi note 9 pro - samsung GM2 , it is not a upgrade really, but a upgrade over redmi note 8 , not the pro.
                  Also you shouldn't compare a samsung s10 with a note 8 pro.

Shilton, 15 Apr 20201 week of usage.. 4/64 version Pros- 1.Good battery ... moreCan't agree more, just got mine too. Same variant, battery life's amazing and SD720G performance's great(My Note 9 Pro on a honeymoon phase so can't talk much on it and never familiar with SD's SOC). Lowlight performance was dissapointing, neither AI or Night Mode can save the shoot. The weight is heavier than most Samsung phone I use before(I'm still using Galaxy Note 9 as my daily driver), but heck the battery is the strongest point and one of the reason I get Note 9S for my kid.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2020I was thinking of buying the phone because of its camera th... moreThe camera in RN9P is 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor which is the upgraded version of GM1(in RN8P)

Pixel count has been reduced from the Note 8 Pro to the Note 9 Pro, the image quality has definitely improved.

RN9P camera is better than RN8P

Dont buy phone because of big MP(64MP)'. Know more about its sensor.

can you compare samsung s10 camera to redmi note 8 pro?

1 week of usage.. 4/64 version

                        Pros-

                        1.Good battery life.
                        2. Performance is up to the mark.
                        3. No overheating issue.
                        4.Great design & build
                        5.has Notification light.

                        Cons-

                        1. Too much heavy phone (compared with samsung m30s/m31 even its has massive 6000mh battery)
                        2.No nfc.
3.average camera nd less details (48mp takes a bit details compare to regular one)
                        4. Battery charging time is 2 hour 15 min
                        5.adds you can't turned off.

                        Conclusion overall value for money...
