Xiaomi has announced that it has sold a total of 600,000 Redmi Note 3 units in India within a period of 60 days. The announcement came in the form of a Facebook post from the Chinese company's VP Hugo Barra, who described it as their "biggest record yet."

The device was launched in India back in March this year, carrying a price tag of INR 9,999 ($148) for the 16GB model and INR 11,999 ($178) for the 32GB model. And as you might already know, the model available in India is powered by SD650.

The device recently went on open sale in the country, but was out of stock within a couple of minutes only.
