Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro in for review

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro, which was announced in October and very recently went global is here and in for review.
It ships with a proprietary magnetic charger and a silicone strap for €80.

You can buy a number of official accessories like this €15 leather strap. The nice thing about it is that it adds lugs to the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro, which you can use to attach standard bands.

Xiaomi's Pro model in the smart band adds a GPS, which is crucial for runners. The Band 9 Pro, like the 8 Pro before it, supports the BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS systems.
So what's different compared to the older model? The biggest change is to the battery - at 350mAh, it's now around 18% bigger than before. The added mAh allows the 9 Pro to claim up to 21 days of light use compared to 14 on the older model.
The OLED display sounds the same at 1.74-inch 336x480px, but at 1200 nits, it's twice as bright. The glass on top is also 2.5D curved at the ends compared to the flat glass of the old model.

The new band also has a linear vibration motor for nicer haptics.
Finally, Xiaomi has changed up the heart rate tracking hardware on the underside, making it superior for collecting and transmitting signals, and by extension, more accurate.
Stay tuned for our test of the Smart Band 9 Pro!

Previous generations had NFC and people were using them for contactless payments. New generations lost the ability. Btw if you do not have a clue, why trying to come up with a last second opinion? Just let other more informed people do the talking.
