Xiaomi Tag will take on Apple's AirTag and the Moto Tag
According to a new rumor out of China, Xiaomi is working on the Xiaomi Tag. As the name very obviously implies, this will be a tracking device that competes head-on with Apple's AirTag and the Moto Tag.
It's said to become official on December 26 in China alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Whether it will get an international launch later on remains to be seen, but we're definitely hoping it does.
The Xiaomi Tag is going to use UWB technology like the AirTag. The Xiaomi Tag is expected to work with Google's Find My Device network. It's allegedly going to be priced under $25, at least in China.
