i am writing in response to case id 310000162479.
i have a xolo a800 phone purchased in jan 13 from bangalore.
i had complained in november 2013 about the silver body getting cracked, either the frame or just the colour. i was informed to handover the phone to the collection center. i took the address and started searching for it. i was surprised to finally find he address after 2 hours on the outskirts of mysore city in an undeveloped residential layout. on reaching there i found out that the collection centre has moved from there permanently.
i again contacted the xolo care and they arranged for a pickup.
i was informed that it will take maximum 10 days for the phone to be repaired. so when i didnt hear anything till 09 dec 13 i called customr care to checkup the status to my surprise i was informed that the phone has been repaired and is ready to be despatched. i dont know what were they doing with my phone for a week after repair(which actually never was repaired). i also informed them to rectify one more issue which i had forgotten to mention earlier. the phone woud start operating various operations on screen when it is connected to power supply for charging making it unusable. they agreed to repair it and send it within another 10 days.
i kept waiting for those 10 days to get over and finally lost my patience and called on 27 dec 13 to find out the status of the phone. the panic had started because i was to move out of mysore for a month from 4 jan 14. the customer care had no idea of the status and whereabouts of the phone. they however promised to escalate the matter and have the phone delivered at the earliest.
i once again called today, 01 jan 14, to know about the status and once again was told that they are unable to find out the status and shall arrange for it to be despatched at the earliest.
and to my surprise once again i received the phone today evening itself and to my shock and surprise i found out that not only the phone was not repaired at all, it was in even worse condition with plenty of scratch marks on the body and the silver paint removed from many other places showing signs of rough usage. the issue of the phone operating many function on its own when connected to charger had also not been resolved.
it is such an horrifying and disgusting experience that i feel like throwing the phone away and suing the company.
i am moving for a month to coimbatore and am left with just 18 days for the warranty to expire and i feel that the company has deliberately done this so that by next complaint the warranty expires and am forced to pay for repair. they also seem to have created scratch marks to show as if i have been using it very roughly and i again am forced to pay for the repairs.
this certainly seems a conspiracy on part of xolo to cheat its customers and make money out of it.
it not only is an unprofessional but also unlawful way of working. i demand that not only my phone be pickedup immediately and repaired and returned before 4 jan 14 my warranty be extended for the period for which it was lying with service center and returned unrepaired.
i, for time being am publishing the same mail in different forums and threaten to malign xolo reputation further if no action is taken.

deep, 01 Jan 2014battery backup is awasome on 2g its battery backup till 18... morei got this phone 16 days back,i was worried about the performance, i went to shop for micromax a77 but the vendor showed me this phone, it,s design is so hot, that i primarily choose it for its looks only, then when the shopkeeper showed me the specs with qhd ips screen, i was impressed, but still had doubts, but shopkeeper assured me about the quality, and believe me from the time since i m using this phone, its performances are on the go, never lags with my with games, i was primarily worried about battery backup, but it runs about more than 2days, camera is also better than with micromax a110q at this price, sounds through the speakers may have been beter, but that's awasome, games run as awasome if made for this phone......the hd recording through its camera looks good when i played it on my laptop's hd display,......i say go for it.......if you are looking for a budget phone with good specs. if u want the email dkg55655@gmail.com
