the display is very nice ips lcd the phone is very laggy i have read the specification an order a phone. hand on phone experiance so not good battrey back is so

Has xolo provided the update which rectifies the performance and lag issue?
Planning to buy this phone but now stuck due to this problem.

Hi, I have Xolo play the phone is amazing in terms of display, gaming and others
problem with phone is phone heats up a lot on any activity like games, apps, browsing or call
Xolo power app really sucks, there are lots of other apps available for power saving
Recently I did an OTA update and phone performance went down drastically!!!!!!!!!
phone hangs on every activity we do like game, apps, going through menus and calling
I called XOLO, sent emails however they didnt give me proper resolution, XOLO is a new company and R&D department is weak which is in bangalore India
Xolo is an Indian company and you all(Indians) must know that such companies will have worst service in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just hope that XOLO employees in R&D should get paid well so that their brains can work and they can research & experiment well on any updates before sending it to customers!!!
XOLO should hire experts from Samsung, Motorola, HTC or google
if not full time atleast part time. So that they can teach them what to do

xolo people are really dumb. the solution they told about the update problem is - do a factory reset. they donot know that update are installed in Rom which are not removed even after factory reset. now they should at least provide a stock Rom officially so that we can flash it back to stock version.

HII anybodys having camera isseues... my phone back camera is not working vediorecorder is working front camera is working but when I click pics with back camera it come full grey... when I reboot my phone in starting its start clicking pics normally.. but after.some time its start having same problem... if any one have solution plzzzzzzzzzzz share with me...

sometimes the phone screen does not turn. you can hear message beep and incoming caller tune, but can see anything on the phone....have to remove the battery pack everytime...happens twice - thrice a day

Headphone and screen guard is the sadest of all...
We can get better headphones for 50 rupees....

after the update the phone te phone not performing. lags while playing simple games and while watching videos. battery life has improved a lot.
Developer option of Force GPU rendering is not good.
XOLO should fix this soon.

please all people who have bough xolo play move over to xda forums. Make a tight well-knit community for enhancing smartphone experience on xolo play. As saying goes united we stand , divided we fall. So all people who bought xolo play come on xda and those with dev capabilities, its my humble request to make device a little bit smoother. Meet ya'll @xda

Updating the phone is the biggest mistake I have ever done...videos are lagging...games are lagging too...this has really broken my heart...it was dream phone fr me...what can I do to resolve this problem...please help me out...some how anyone...

Now i dont know what has happened. It wont work smooth. Even if i am playing games like temple run or small games they lag and freeze for a second. This is really a very good news that if they are to come with a update to resolve this issue. q800 with mt6589 outperforms this phone very badly. Just hoping to see this issue resolved or i wont be buying any nvidia phones in future.
