It is showing only the application storage space, which is 2 GB. Other 6 GB is for songs, movies, pictures, etc and the android software itself.

So, 2 GB is for applications as you said, 4 GB is for pictures, music, movies, etc. 2 GB more is for the Android software. So, 2+4+2=8 gb , which is the total storage space written in the box. You can store many applications in just 2 GB.

I bought 6x-1000 on 27th march 2015
It can receive files from other mobiles via blutooth except apk files, only can receive by wifi apps like xender etc
On box its written 8gb internal but in mobile its only showing 2GB free when I switched it ON first time.
On box its written 2GB Ram but in mobile its showing 1 GB free when I switched it ON first time.
Else its a very good mobile, lets see what will happen after a month.

i bought this phone a few days back and i have a problem with internal memory when i look at the specification its written 8gb intrrnal memory but when i check my phone its 2gb display can anyone tell me what happen??

i bought this mobile a few days back and when i look the specification internal memory is 8gb but its 2gb when i check the phone what happen
and i insert 2gb memory card and its said 4gb sd card
can anybody give me suggestion

XoloPlay6xer, 14 Jan 2015Been using this phone for 6months and let me tell you every... moreI am using XOLO Play 6X-1000 Mobile model and suddenly my battery getting increased thickness of the size, so battery won't fix to my mobile and mobile switched of even though charge more than 80%. What can I do for resolve above problem.

Dina Dina, 18 Oct 2014Don't put in tight jean pants. xolo play 6x-1000 touch is v... morei just wanted to say that its Good that you got your phone got repaired (tp) because i have been waiting for almost one months and my phone didn't even got repaired they (service center ) in Bangalore keep on saying that they having trouble finding my tp or out of stock or not available or blaaa blaaa some thing like that.... can you pls tell me where did you got phone repaired ..... and in which service center and where......??????

i have been using xolo play 6x 1000 for past 5 month its a very good gaming phone but its service center is worst of its kind because recently my touch panel got broken and its have been almost one month my phone haven been (not) repaired the service representive keep on saying they having trouble for finding my tp(touch panel) and also some time they are saying that the main xolo company in noida is not sending or not dispatching my tp to service center where i have placed my order even i have paid them advance money for the same... btw i have visited all the service center in Bangalore i have got same reply in all of them.....
