Xolo Q1000 is a good smartphone for low-end phones. I have been using it for last 2 months. The screen quality is good and the look is fabulous. But it have some glitches worthy mentioning.
1. The speaker is little bit noisy in high sounds.
2. The battery is the most common complaint of most users. Eg. My battery shows 34% and after rebooting it suddenly goes to 85%.
3. The Android Sensor Box and others apps shows the orientation and magnetic sensors but the availability is dubious in the xolo forums.
4. The back cover gets patched with break lines when opening it.

is xolo q 1000 better or xolo q 1000 opus ....any grt difference...as compared to samsung duos wat sshould one opt for ?

Everything is alright in this Phone But one serious problem is -> This Phone doesn't have 'Internet Calling' Option in Call Settings (Native Dialer). Whereas in Samsung Models if you can press 'Settings' in Dialer (left buttom)you can see in the last option in as 'INTERNET CALL Settings' and there you can configure SIP Settings (User Id & Password). That is the main drawback of this phone.

Battery back up is not up to the mark. I have bought this mobile just 7 days back, giving 2100 MAH is not worth & more over if i have been in 3G it sucks battery life.
When compared to Samsung & other smart phones pricewise it is good.

Had anyone tried connecting this phone using usb tethering for pc because i am not able to do so so please check if all the devices of this model show the same problem or else if it is only my device prob

I am using Q1000 since August, Excellent phone in given price bracket much better then branded. Good audio/video quality, having few friends using same model, no problem with this handset.

After purchasing of xolo q1000 , from second day it started restarting . I contacted their support team and sent my handset too but they don't even care or listen.they cheat and make people fool for selling handsets in few thousands less but what if you can't use that cheap mobile.so i advised never to buy xolo company mobile in any case even for freely because xolo mobiles are faulty,errorprone,worst and nightmare kind of services,quality,support.
