compass won't work on the q1000 beacuse the phone does not have 'magnetic sensor'. In the specifications you can see that in the 'sensors' section, only proximity and accelerometer are given. Well ain't no problem with that, because the only apps that won't be working are compass and metal detectors...

I have purchased a xolo 1000q and have downloaded the digital compass from play store,but the app is not working.Will you please give me some advise how I can use this app. or is there any other way. please REPLY.

I just hope they'll release an update to address the issue that it has on taking a Video, since it's way to zoomed in. This phone BTW is branded CHERRY MOBILE in the Philippines.

please don't give ur phone to xolo service centre
because I think it is the worst service centre ever in the world
I had given my q1000 to service. almost 1 and half month passed. still they don't know wether they can repair it. they are always saying that the phone is under repair

I bought this phone on 8th August...and i'm very impressed with this phone...no lag at all...the only downside is the Audio as its low even the camera quality isn't that great but anyways it doesn't make much difference to me as Xolo is providing this phone with a an impressive performance at such a cheap rate compared to many other well reputed foreign brands....and i haven't faced any problems with this phone yet...As per my experience i would say that this is the best smartphone under 15k...Xolo Rocks...except there service..

must improve customer care first nd battery life.while playing very high graphics games its getting slow like asphalt 7 etc..,other than that its awesome

The best practice in purchasing phones/ gadgets is to test it inside the stores EVEN IF IT WOULD TAKE MORE THAN AN HOUR BECAUSE THAT'S OUR RIGHT AS CUSTOMERS, and to assure ourselves that the item satisfies us. I had an Xperia Phone before and encountered some phone errors, I went to a SONY store in our town but they still need to ship the phone to their head office for repair and IT TAKES TIME WAITING. I feel sorry as well to those who experienced the same issue with xolo. YOU KNOW GUYS, WHAT EVER BRAND THAT IS, YOU might EXPERIENCE IMPERFECTIONS BECAUSE THIS ARE ONLY MAN MADE DEVICE. SO PUT INTO PRACTICE TESTING PHONES BEFORE BUYING :)
Im using this phone right now and did not encounter problem/s, I even salute xolo because they make MMX customers and other brand user visit XOLO phone page reviews. So far the overall price and quality is great, i even sold my S4 just to have this xolo q1000 and have extra bucks to use for other stuff. GOOD JOB XOLO!
