thanx xolo to update my phone to KitKat but solve this software issue as soon as possible
wi fi is not working
thetering is not working
screen brightness automatically increase decrease
both sin leave there signals
and with signal i cant do cal and in cant receive call
i hope u will take correct n fast update step

vijay, 05 May 2014Xolo is very cheat 4.4.2 update is poor Please raise a request to Xolo customer care. It seems to be a bug in Kitkat.
Hopefully, company will return with bug fix.

Good value for money. Trusting Xolo against Micromax was not at all bad thinking. Have installed plenty of apps and phone is running just fine.
This handset is available with 4.4.2 (Kitkat) upgrade.
However, my Wifi got disable after upgrade. Earlier it was working with 4.2.2 (Jelly). Have spoken to Cust care and service center too, may be Xolo will roll out bug fix for WiFi soon.
Rest good handset to use.

Hi Guys,
If u face any problem after the update wait please don't be in hurry as the new firmware takes some time to upload to ur phone. As i also faced the same problem.
You might face some problem with your wifi and hotspot after the update. please don't go to the service center they will keep ur phone for long time. As this issue is a software problem. Give them some time they will definately do the needful. And wait for some more new update to fix this issue. Thanks

Got a so called kitkat update, after installing phone got freezed at the Logo, there is no response, dropped in service center...lets see.....its a scrap handset and scrap company cant handle one update properly...shame on you xolo.

I am also suffering the same problem after updating from android 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 wi fi is not working neither hotspot nor thechring and many misbehaving takes place in opration when i went to service center and told to them please replace my software from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2.first they took more time and after that they replied that your phone is not accepting the old software they were unable to solve the problem and said we will send it head office may be some hard ware issues relating to motherboard but i was no time for 15 days i took my phone and using without wi fi and waiting a new update which will resolve the current problem b coz i know it is only software issue not a hardware before that my phone was working properly ,and that time i updated my phone through only wifi after updation my wifi stopped the work and was unable to connect to wifi network

Today my phone xolo q1000 opus showed a update of about 5.4mb. In the update it said next update will be for android 4.4.2(kitkat). After the update it showed an update of about 293mb which according to me was the kitkat update. But the phone freezed at the start up now my phone is useless. Please help.

hi ,i purchased the set on 31.12.2014 at channel 9,basavagudi, bangalore, in the beginning, mean for two months, it was ok, then problem like misbehaving started,keypad was very badly functioning, if i press specific option, it was going to other unwanted functions and suddenly call was going to some one else recorded in the set. The set was given at Jayanagar 4th block service center, they assured to get it repaired with in 15 days, when i approached after 20 days, their say is that 15 "working" days they need and even till today the set is not delivered.SERVICE AFTER SALE IS WORST, WORST and our reviews are perhaps will go to recycle bin. No company authorities will respond properly, think before purchasing it
