HTC Desire 816 is with my friend and we have played same video on both phones and my friend feels like break his desire 816 after seeing the clarity on Q3000 screen. Its much much better then both T2 ultra and Desire 816.
You made the best choice in this budget and probably a todd higher. :)

I used it for 3 months, and then my display become faulty ( colour line all over screen ) When they replaced the display it was not properly fixed on the frame. And since then its 16gb memory also doesn't show by any testing apps. The basic problem is also not solved of display on / off.

I am using this phone for a month now.
No doubt the Xolo Q3000 phone is good, however it has two issues.
1) You cannot touch and again focus when taking a picture of an object if under 1 feet even with good light as seen on the screen. You will need to keep flash ON to gain focus by touch and then put flash off and then take the picture. THIS WAS NEVER THE CASE WITH XOLO Q800 which I have been using for less than 2 years.
2) Audio recorded when recording a video, is too low. Again, audio quality on recorded video on Xolo Q800 is much much better (louder).

I am using XOLO Q3000 for past eight months and i have upgraded to Kitkat Beta version(4.4.2) during september, however the applicaion storage was only 0.98GB (1007 MB to be exact).Last week iihave again upgraded to Kitkat final version (373MB) through Xolo update.This final version was smooth, however apps storage was same , 0.98GB.
Today through XOLO service centre, I could increase the apps storage to 3.94GB, which is a great relief to me !
However , I could get Beta version only, the service centre people told that , so far XOLO has not sent Final version to them, hence it could not done !However I am satisfied with its performance !
I am in chennai , hope this message may be useful to somebody and if any one has upgraded to final version of Kitkat 4.4.2, with apps storage 3.94GB , Pl give info !!

AnonD-142214, 18 Nov 2014I have selected storage of apps in Memory card in settings .In case if i want to store the apps and Files in Phone memory i hv selected Phone memory as storage option but even then its getting stored in Memory card

On Kitkat, Xolo Q3000 does not support the following featurs....
1. Live Wallpapers
2. Internal Phone Memory (only shows 1 GB)
3. Cloud Backup for Call log, SMS, etc. to customer's registered Gmail Account via Xolo Secure.app
4. Date and Day display on lock screen is not displayed in proper English Fonts. (eg. TUE displayed as "11UE" and MON displayed as "11ON" etc.,
5. wondershare mobilego and some other mobile apps not supporting this model Q3000
6. Lack of exact, proper, original APP from XOLO Manufacturer for connecting the phone with PC
May it be solved or fixed soon by Xolo ....???

This has been done to ensure we don't end up damaging our phone's operating system.

Howbto root this KitKat 4.4.2 as Xolo centre in kolhapur disagreed to increase its internal memory they called it impossible but when I called Xolo care they told me its against Xolo policy to tell
So anyone help me to root this
